Where should Delilah take Alycia? Away away or just away from danger but in the area? I wasn't sure what you had planned.

I have to go to a concert tonight but then I'll be back to post. I didn't want to rush to do it right now and make a crap post, especially when I wasn't sure what to do. Plus who wants to follow THAT interaction between Haleigh and Ava? lol
 
its okay Vil (I just now saw your post here) I had Oracle move everyone along....Ororo has arrived to deal with Erika so you can just react to that. She'll address Haleigh and Ava in a moment as well.

Can we have a rundown of who's on what floor now? Delilah was on the 99th, then the 100th, but now Nicolas is there...so I'm lost lol.

Ummm.. I just wanted to let you know Sam lol ;) Ethan's composed the warhammer of his energy, and it was invisible since Ethan was invisible himself... but since I didn't say that I guess I will take it lol ;)
 
Yeah I wasn't sure if it was invisible or not considering he, himself was invisible. So i'll just edit.
 
just a word to the wise Brandon, DONT get carried away with this new character.

the powers are based on invisible woman and even SHE acknolwedged her limits. if you try too much, i'll be calling you out on it.
 
Well since his main power is to be invisible and he WAS invisible, he wouldn't be seen, and honestly how can you go into someone's mind of which you've never seen in person or know where they are?

because a telepath doesnt need to SEE their foe to know where they are. even though Ethan is cloaked from SIGHT he is still physically in the room. he cannot phase, nor can he teleport, nor can he alter his "speed", so there ARE ways to detect him and deal with him.

a telepath on the level of Malice ...or to put it in MARVEL terms since this game is primarily based on Marvel ideas...Xavier, The White Queen or Psylocke could lock onto ANY mental signature that they needed to. the ONLY exceptions were: alien life forms, mystics with psi screens, pure techno organic beings, spirit forms.

Telepaths don't need to SEE their foes in order to lock onto them, nor does a Precog need to SEE someone in order to know they are coming. I'm being GENEROUS with Alison for the sake of the game because in THEORY, she could simply anticipate ALL of his moves and compensate accordingly.


your character's power is just about a CARBON COPY of Invisible Woman from Marvel Universe, DONT think i didnt notice that Brandon. If you want to pattern after her, that's fine but that means your character will have just about the same weakness she does. just because ethan can cloak his BODY from sight doesnt mean he can cloak his MIND from a telepath. he's not a mystic so he doesnt have a psi screen so don't try to make a variant of it.

Invisible Woman's power (like Ethan's according to the language you used in the bio) is PSIONICALLY activated and that means Ethan is vulnerable to the SAME sorts of things anyone else whose power is psionic in nature would be and this can include: sonic/gas attacks, anything that would provide suitable distraction to break concentration, being rendered unconscious or attacked by a telepath in any number of ways. In addition to that it has been shown that certain types of energies can pass through the molecular structure of Invisible Woman's forcefields and hit her ANYWAY so while Ethan may have the same powers he does...that means he's gonna have the same weaknesses.

psionic based powers have another disadvantage in that they are only going to be as strong as the WILL of the person using them. Invisible Woman has risked serious permanent injury trying to sustain certain invisible force fields/constructs that strained her to her mental and physical limits. Further more...if Invisible Woman's forcefields are STRUCK with enough physical force, the psionic backlash has been shown to cause her to BLACK OUT from the pain and in some EXTREME cases causing the forcefield to shatter. (witness her battle with Dr. Doom when he possesed the power of a Watcher, or her attempt to shield The Thing from being beaten to death by the Hulk)

per my discussion with Garrick, I'll be editing rampage's power description to fit the outline we came to together. it will further alleviate the problems we've been having of "overlapping" power signatures as of late.
 
i've moved us all along in the current (and now closed) playing thread, so we didnt get stuck waiting. its just a blanket post to indicate that things arent always as easily solved as they thought and leaves the door open for new challenges for the team.

anyone with ideas on what we can face next PLEASE feel free to pm me :) try to steer away from a single "villain/villainess" and instead go for something that will effect the group as a whole.
 
Just a head's up - my parents are coming to town from Sunday to Wednesday, so I probably won't be able to be on on Monday, and probably not Sunday night. I might be able to be on Sunday early afternoon. I shouldn't have a problem getting on on Tuesday night, but I'll most likely be offline most of the day. (My mom is staying with me and will be sleeping in the room with the computer.)
 
FYI Sam, if you care, which you probably don't lol - the Central Park Zoo could never house a Panther. It is way way too small. Bronx Zoo would be a better choice for that :)

Hey all!

just to let you know, i'm in the process of relocating. a job opportunity came up for me and everything was right in order so i took it....and now, i'm preparing to move to a new state.

that's why i've been M.I.A. for the last couple of days.

i'll move us along over the next few days (but from a first glance, it seems you guys have been doing okay :) )
 
ah... i wondered why it got so slow. I was gone most of the weekened because the Wings Over Houston Airshow was being held and the USAF Thunderbirds were the headliners! :D :D I love the thunderbirds [and i love love LOVE that the number 3 bird is piloted by the first woman EVER this year. Girl power! They do some pretty amazing things with fighter planes and while there are a good number of women military pilots, there has never been a femal pilot on the flight demonstration team of the Air Force OR the Navy [the Blue Angels team]. So Yay. :D

Lol, but anyway.... good luck with the move and new job Farrah. I'll probably post later this evening.
