Well since we are sharing good news.. I am MOVING to Seattle at the end of November.. The day I leave will be November 30th but you shouldn't worry about me being too inactive because I already use the laptop as my main computer and we have wireless so it's all good..

I was hoping to get into the Seattle Market as a Personal Banker, but they want me to get to know their market first as a Lead Teller before they move me up, which is understandable, they offered me a dollar more an hour than I am making here for the same position and they are willing to pay me 95% above market for the Personal Banker position, and the place I will be living is less than a mile away from where I work, so that will be good and I can walk. I will be living in the center of downtown so I am excited. I will be two blocks away from Pike Place Market and only three blocks away from the Gay District of Capitol Hill.

So.. YAY For me! ;)
 
Congrats man. Now if only you guys luck will rub off on me. I am currently out of work and my wife is still recovering but there are some prospects...hopefully I will be back at it very soon and able to work AND finish my degree.
 
hello everyone! im finally moved. I'm now officially.....<<gulp>> living in "the south".

I hate being the "new girl on the block" but the drive down was peacefull, smooth and there were no problems. I've got plenty of time to settle in and it feels good to have some internet access back.

The south?! You mean my ass just left the south and your ass moves down to it! lol, what are the odds of that happening? :p Well i'm glad that you're settled and had a safe trip! Believe me, I know what it's like to drive long distances. :rolleyes: What part did you move down to?
 
interesting, isnt it? i never thought i'd be moving down HERE of all places...but things happen for a reason i suppose. But i do HATE the time zone i'm in now :(

the men down here are ALREADY "noticing" me lol. but it works out to my advantage sometimes....(that southern gentleman hospitality thing)

im sorry i'm not able to post as much as i would like. "setting up" is a bit more difficult that i thought. thank you all for your patience, for not giving on the game or the board and i'll be back to post in the Six again soon. :nod:
 
Well Farrah I hope all is well for you and that this move is good for you and that you are Happy :) I cannot WAIT until my move..

I am so damn nervous.. this is a big step... moving away... with my man haha.. I think it's pretty serious lol... it's scary sometimes but I guess this move will definitely be a test of how strong we are.. we have both never lived in a place with a HEALTHY gay population so that kind of makes me nervous, but.. eh I have a job down there already so that TAKES alot of that of my stress away.. I will keep you posted..
 
Hey all - just a head's up. I'm home visiting my parents for the rest of the month, so while I'm here I'll have good internet (yay) but due to my father thinking everything on the internet is a waste of time I might have limited time on. I should be able to be on once a day most of the time at least.

Friday a week we head to the beach for vacation until the next Saturday, so I'm not sure what the internet situation will be. Definitely the Friday I won't have access, and I'm not sure what kind of internet will be available until I get there on Saturday. So if Delilah is needed and I'm not on please go ahead and post for her. But I will do my best :)

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to wish each of you a very happy and SAFE ThanksGiving! This will be my first holiday in the state of Tennessee..no snow, no bone chilling cold weather..i love it! :D

Friday, "The Day After", ill be battling and fighting with the hoards of people at wal-mart as they will have flat screen tv's on sale. i will do WHATEVER IT TAKES...step on people, elbow them, push them down...to get my TV :fdevil:


the current storyline is building up nicely btw. everyone's doing a good job. Brandon, do try to do a better job with following cues as they come so you won't have to "clean up" later.

i like how there's no real interruptions in the flow of the story, and even though its moving slower, we're still enjoying ourselves.

Just a reminder that I am traveling tomorrow (uh, today) and will probably not be able to be online. Also I am still at my parents' until Thursday, so my online time will be limited still until then. :)

My thanksgiving was pretty good.. My family never really does anything for the holiday so I spent it with Kalib's family at his Grandmother's house. All of his family there and I met my sarcastic match haha! Her name is Anne and She is Kalib's Uncle's mother and her name was Anne! She had me in stitches the entire night haha! She is such a bitch and I LOVED her.. and then I ended up getting drunk with Kalib's Stepmom haha... I had to take the edge off some how! But it was really great and then at the end of the night we went and visited his Grandmother in the hospital. ( She is going through Cancer.. for the third time :( and he lost his grandfather last on year on my birthday to cancer) It was nice spending thanksgiving with a family that is more like a family than mine haha!
 
Hey all - my computer's hard drive died and I had to completely reinstall Windows. So I will try to keep up but I'm trying to get everything back to normal at the moment. Just letting you all know.

couple things

what do y'all think of the new banner and av sam made for me? :D i love em!

secondly, i was looking for everyone's opinion on a new codename i have in mind...going from "Guardian" to "Harbinger" as that is even MORE in synch with the powers of this character. Harbinger sounds more menacing to me as well.

give me your opinions.
 
Love the banner and av...but "Guardian" is spelled wrong :p

I don't know about a name change - I do like the name Harbinger, but I feel like Guardian fits the character. It's up to you though. :)
 
ACK! thanks for the notice of the typo, vil! :haha: I just contacted Perse about it.



Soothsayer sounds too..."old man"ish...Harbinger sounds more feminine to me. I'm really thinking on the idea of switing to Harbinger after this storyline...especially with the NEXT one that's coming up :D
 
Okay, I feel like a complete idiot. LOL, I can't believe I spelled Guardian wrong. :p Note to self: double double double check on the spelling to keep from type-o's.

And I dunno about the new name...Harbinger kinda sounds like a word I would pick to insult Spellbinder's name. LOL. But it's up to you. Just let me know for sure so I can edit the banner again.
