:: The moment Blaze caught Persephone's whip, it immediately transfigured into a Black Mamba. One of the most venomous snakes known on Earth. The snake hissed within Blaze's hands as Persephone shifted her eyes to the small woman, unphased by her agility and boldness. Lunging forward, the snack sent a fierce bite into the air, venom dripping from it's exposed fangs. It could of easily bite Blaze, wrapped around her arm, constricted her. But Persephone's attention was soon diverted to Guardian. Allowing Blaze to drop the end of her whip to the ground, the Black Mamba slithered along the stone and up around Persephone's leg until it was once again, wrapped around her toned body. The snake seemed to "melt" into the fabric of her attire, returning back to it's platinum vine state. ::

:: Narrowing her eyes as Guardian spoke, Persephone was skeptical of the woman....Ororo was powerful, more powerful than any being she had come across. Persephone found it highly impossible for her to be dead. But as the goddess cautiously shifted her eyes toward the direction that Guardian nodded, the mist parted revealing the headstones. ::

:: Slowly stepping forward, the spiked heals of her boots scuffed softly along the stone pathway that lead to the cemetery. Her mouth parted slightly, and her green eyes fixed upon the tomb stones, Persephone made her way closer...closer to what she refused to believe. Softly gasping in shock, her eyes moved along the engraved letterings of each stone, causing her stomach to knot. Ororo and Karen Victoria, both with the words "Beloved Mother" under their names. Titania, Brenthon, Ikaris and Elektra read "Devoted Friends". Alessandra, with the words "Fallen Sister" And finally, Morphus with "Fallen Love" All graves of her teammates....all of them dead. ::

:: Lifting her seemingly 100 pound hand to her stomach, she gently pressed her palm against it, realizing she hadn't been breathing. Twenty five years...they had been dead twenty five years, and yet she lived. After a few moments, Persephone finally turned her head away from the tombstones, looking over her shoulder to Guardian. ::

"Why are you here."

:: Her voice less hostile than before, but still firm, and without a hint of emotional strain. ::

I'm loving this character already. Nice visuals for the reader, and excellent display of detail and emotion. She's going to be a blast. Nice intro post too. :D
Limbo- The Garden

:: Guardian eyed the Black Mamba carefullly. She was prepared to "true freeze" it the moment it made another strike at Foxfire but as as the mutant let go of the whip, the snake slithered away back to its mistress and returned to its original form.::

a transiamorphic whip. interesting personal weaponry she has

::Guardian thought to herself as Persephone listened to the Seer and dared to look at the graves near by. she discovered Guardian was telling the truth about all of them, including Ororo. It gave Alison no joy to be RIGHT in this matter either.::

:: as Persephone looked back over her shoulder and asked why they were there, Guardian spoke.::

We are here from another timeline actually and our journey, our mission has led us to you. We are looking for the Darkchilde.

:: thunder crashes through the swirling midnight skies as a cold gust of wind whips all around across the wilted garden.::

You see, I know that you were her "sister Dire Wraith" and so you must know that she was one part of a multi versal phenomena known as the "dark trinity". we come from the timeline that is home to Spellbinder, one of Darkchilde's cross time alternates.

As the whip transfigured into a black mamba, Blaze grinned. "Well, that's new." She commented casually, unabashed that one of the world's most deadliest snakes was close to biting her. Moving her head back inwardly just as the snake attempted to bite. Her left hand moving around to grasp the snake by the back of the head, preventing its venomous fangs from puncturing a wound. "She's...beautiful." Unlike Morgan, Blaze actually liked snakes....a rather outcast approach, but Blaze figured them to be like any animal.

However, the snake showed more cunningness than expected as it coiled around her bicep, constricting her circulation. "I think she likes me." Nodding down to the snake just as Foxfire released its hold, with the snake returning to its owner.

Rubbing her right arm to gain more circulation back inside her veins. She glanced up to overhear Guardian's stern warning. "Now, you tell me." She sighed, already too late but nonetheless nothing hostile had come from either alignment. Keeping her ground next to Black Widow and Guardian.

Fox's eyes roaming to the mischievous faeries who roamed this world. These creatures were much like of a cartoon, small and delicate. A contrast to the rare statue faerie she had saw earlier. Guardian explained in greater detail to the Dire Wraith about her friends deaths, and their mission. Blaze glanced over to Alison, her voice seemed more humane, not that stone - wall person she had been.

"Spellbinder is...well was my sister." Blaze looked up to meet Persephone's eyes. "In your time line, would be DC."

:: Guardian mentioning Darkchilde sent a wave of anger throughout her body. For this...traveler to mention her very name was disrespectful, not to mention extremely STUPID. But Persephone allowed Guardian to continue, intrigued as to why they were looking for her sister wraith. The moment Guardian mentioned Spellbinder, Persephone turned her attention away from the woman, and back to the tombstones. ::

"Yes. I am familiar with Spellbinder."

:: Inhaling a deep breath, Persephone was not blind to the fact that Darkchilde was not one of the names listed along the tombstones...she was alive, but not in the way that Persephone once knew her. ::

"And their other counterpart, Magik."

:: A small faerie began to flutter past Persephone, her eyes following the little creature. Grabbing it in the palm of her hand, Persephone squeezed it tightly, looking over her shoulder once again at Guardian. ::

"Seeking out Darkchilde's a death sentence."

:: Tossing the now dead faerie to the ground, Persephone turned away from the graves, now making her way down the stone path through Ororo's Garden. Her eyes shifted around the dead garden...the beauty and tranquility it once had was gone. The mist was thick, the air was bitter. ::

:: Walking past the three woman, although THEY weren't aware of it, but Persephone was being far kinder than the brutal, unforgiving goddess she was known as. Normally she would have killed the woman once she gained the information she needed...but with the death of her friends looming over her, Persephone was far too distracted to care whether they lived or died. ::

"Go to Magik for assistance."

:: Straight, and to the point, Persephone's voice echoed off as she made her way further down the pathway, now heading toward Ororo's Castle. ::

Limbo-The Garden

:: Guardian gritted her teeth at the callousness of this woman. her insolence was astounding she showed NO ounce of gratitude from having been liberated from her stone prison and now, she acted as though she ruled them. Guardian may have been freshly returned from the dead, but it was not BEYOND her to return to her icy ways, especially in the matter of trying to save her own "sister", Morgan.::

:: watching with a stone faced expression as Persephone casually KILLED a creature within Ororo's garden, Guardian looked over, her cobalt blue eyes zeroing on the wraith::

Were you always this rude and callous as to kill a creature within the garden of a woman you seemed to be concerned about? Because if so, I can see why Ororo turned you to stone.

:: Persephone was powerfull to be sure, but so was Guardian and neither woman had seen the other in battle::

We are not here for you, NOR do you dictate our actions. It is WE who freed you and believe me, we posses the power to render you INERT AGAIN!

:: Guardian stepped forward::

You do not speak for Darkchilde, and WE are not going to be told what to do by you. You're just as lost as we are and if you DON'T HELP US you will NEVER find Darkchilde yourself, much less attempt to salvage what little of your former life there is to find.

:: Guardian's tone was sharp, and she herself seemed more cold than before. Persephone was not making a good impression on her::

:: all around them in the darkness, the myst continued to drift and the thunder rolled in the skies above. the cold winds gusted randomly and the crickets and other insects continued their haunting, seemingly endless symphony in the air around them. Guardian looked at Black Widow and Foxfire and signaled them to flank her on either side...ready for anything::

Persephone
niiiiice post. i can tell that guardian and persephone are going to have GREAT friendship!
Taken back by the fact Persephone knew of the Dark Trinity, Blaze stood stunned. Which meant if the Dire Wraith knew, then so did DC. Her eyes following the Goddess as she grabbed a helpless faerie killing it. The small creature falling to the ground in a heap, with its other friends flying over to grieve. Perking a curious brow at the tainted beauty, Blaze shook her head.

"We have nothing left of our home world...like you most of our friends are dead, missing or severally injured. Although Magik would probably assist us, we need Darkchilde due to her power. She is the most potent of the time lines, which is why we need her. You can find her Persephone. Don't you wish to be reunited with your Sister Wraith?" She asked, finding nothing get through to the Goddess.

Looking back at Guardian in frustration, "She's wasting our time, she doesn't care Alison. And supposedly this is the Goddess of nature, What a joke." She spoke with a venomous tone, for she too was agitated by Persephone's behavior.

She moved behind Guardian who addressed herself and Haleigh flank her. Foxfire standing behind Guardian's right shoulder and Black Widow on the left. They looked very much like the Charmed Ones in their posture and pose. Blaze's eyes leaking their natural green pools to reveal a flickering eerie yellow flames that stared down Persephone. She too grew tired of this, she wanted to find her sister!

:: Stopping in mid stride, Persephone kept her back to the three woman as Alison began to speak more harshly to the goddess. Narrowing her eyes slightly, once Guardian spoke about having the "ability to inert her again", a small smirk grew on Persephone's lips as she slowly turned around, crossing her arms along her chest. ::

"Oh I seriously doubt that."

:: Her tone even and cold, Persephone's eyes locked onto Guardian's, seeing the anger radiating from the witches eyes. Glancing to Black Widow and Foxfire as they moved aside of Guardian, taking battle positions, Persephone let out a low laugh of amusement. ::

"I've fought in battles all over the world long before you were even a THOUGHT in your parents MINDS. So if you think I’m going to quiver in my boots....you three will be the ones who are in for the rude awakening."

:: Shifting her weight casually from one leg to another, Persephone kept her arms crossed, letting out a frustrated sigh. ::

"Look, the Darkchilde that I knew and loved--my friend....my sister, is gone. She is nothing more than pure magik now; a manifestation of her grief, anger, and guilt. And not even I can get through to her in that state."

:: Persephone's face was stern as she spoke to the posed woman. Darkchilde was once her friend, but Darkchilde in the form of pure magik...was no one's friend. Everyone was an enemy--everyone was her foe. But even though she knew this to be true--that Darkchilde herself told her the tales of what could happen if driven to the point of emotional strain that she was in during the battle with the Dire Wraiths-- Persephone wanted to see her again. Even in her magik state. Perhaps it was false hope...or even suicidal thinking, but Persephone reluctantly nodded her head. ::

"Fine. I will help you find her. But she is nothing like your timeline's counterpart, Spellbinder. Especially now. So you let ME handle her."

Limbo: The Garden

:: Guardian squared off as Persephone turned back to face them and laugh them off, stating that she was far beyond them in years and experience. But Guardian was never one to be out done by ANYONE when it came to a verbal sparring match, OR to proove that she was the in the right::

Spare us, Persephone. Your past, your present and even your FUTURE are all pitifually transparenet to me. I can see EVERY aspect of your life and call you out for the emotional TRAIN WRECK that you once were. You are ALONE now and you know it.

:: Guardian's cobalt blue eyes locked with Persephone's eyes. As far as "seeing" all aspects of her life, The Seer was actually BLUFFING for while in Limbo, her precognition was hampered, but Persephone wouldnt know that::

I have KILLED beings who considered themselves gods. Do not think that your antiquated perception of "god hood" has any bearing in this or any future timeline. You are a RELIC.

::Guardian stopped herself from berating Persephone any further....she did not feel compelled to go all out as she once did when dealing with others In the Six several months back. truth be told, she didnt want to argue, or fight with this woman. it was truly fascinating to behold Persephone, given what Alison knew of her from legend.::

:: As Persephone relented in her half of the stand off, and agreed to help them, warning them to let her deal with Darkchilde, Guardian nodded::

We will make sure that you have primary communication with Darkchilde.

:: at that very moment, almost on cue, a stepping disc blasts into view hovering off the ground several inches and slightly angled. something about this disc was different. winds rushed out from it, causing Guardian's blue/black hair, Foxfire's chocolate brown hair and Black Widow's blonde locks to blow back. an eerie pinkish/white light radiated from this disc.::

::Guardian looked between her two friends::

I sense a great evil and contempt....it must be Darkchilde!!! We must take this last leap.....

:: taking each of their hands. Guardian felt it best to let PERSEPHONE, who was on the other side of the disc, go in first::

Each of the three women standing, representing for earth and for the Six looked alluring, determined, and beautiful. With Guardian standing in the front she resembled a bird of prey, her cobalt eyes fierce and ruthless. Foxfire stood to Guardian's left looking passionate, fiery, and agitated. Her flickering irises burning with impatience for the matter. And Black Widow looked predatory, Smokey, and cunning. Her eyes depicting a sense of impatience to them but also fascination. All of them studying their new companion, Persephone.

Each alignment standing with a bit of an attitude and a stand - off position. Foxfire remained quiet as Guardian verbally spared with Persephone, addressing her catty comments. This was Alison's field, and it clearly showed. There was an icy frost to her words, cold and cut throat, it made Fox grin with admiration.

Finally the Dire Wraith gave in, relenting as did Guardian. And almost on que, like it was destiny, another disk appeared. The winds elevated in speed now as everyone's hair flew madly in the wind. It was as if a tornado was coming, Alison's words revealing what Blaze had considered. Her hand reaching out for Guardian's on pure instinct, she took one last breath as Persephone would jump first then the Six. She felt better knowing Persephone was going first, in case she planned to double cross them.

:: Lowering her brows inquisitively as Guardian began to rebut back at Persephone, the goddess tilted her head very slightly to the side at her mentioning she was a train wreck at one time. A hint of amusement appeared on Persephone's face as her lips maneuvered into a smirk. This woman was resilient...but stupid. Persephone was well aware of the fact that everyone's powers in limbo were bogged down aside of the dark trinity and Ororo, but if it made Guardian feel all powerful, why take that small flicker of confidence away? ::

:: Finally, after minutes of banter, the two woman came to an understanding. And on cue, a stepping disc appeared next to all four woman, blowing gusts of wind that tossed her ebony locks back behind her. Squinting her green eyes to the bright light, she looked to the three woman as they took each others hands and awaited Persephone to take the first move. So much for their fearless attitudes. ::

:: Stepping forward, Persephone moved to the angled stepping disc until finally, jumping within it and disappearing. ::

Inito the disc

:: Guardian looked upon the larger, more violent disc she showed no outward reaction to it, but secretly, her own heart raced at the thought of meeting this timeline's part of the Dark Trinity....the DARKCHILDE::

:: as terrifying as Spellbinder was in her timeline, Darkchilde was THE WORST of the three. Even Persephone acknowledged that and Ororo had confirmed that DC was the most powerfull of the three. Would she even give them time to speak before she savagely attacked them? Would Guardian be strong enough to repell her long enough to at least give Haleigh and Blaze the chance to escape?::

:: she would not lose herself in such self doubt and fear. not know, as she took her two friends and together they jumped into the disc. their world was enveloped in white light as everything spun around so fast...and soon...they were now in a new place within this timeline of Limbo....a place of POWER::

the moment of truth!

<< the midnight garden gives way to a dizzyingly high rocky plateau, now out in the open, the women were now in the grip of the violent storm that raged unchecked. they were much closer to the churning skies they had seen before and it was rather unsettling. the winds, thunder and lightning played a violent elemental symphony. only a few winged demons could be seen at this point so HIGH....almost as high as the summit, but without the protection of the castle. >>

<< Persephone had come out first, followed by the three women of the Six. they now saw in the near distance a rock with a sword embeded into it. the sword blazed with silver mystic flame. it was the Soul Sword. Spellbinder had minfested it during the inferno..and here it was, firmly in the Darkchilde's possession and where the sword was, the mistress of the blade could not be far from.>>

<< the power on this plateau was fierce and extreme. Guardian's mystical alarms would immediately begin to sound off, indicating that someone or SOMETHING was closing in on them...FAST>>

Limbo- rocky plateau

:: Guardian sprung up from the disc, landing crouched down, Black Widow and Foxfire came out out okay, but before they could really take in this shocking high position they were now in, Guardian's mystical alarms began to go off..::

the magicks here..are as BLACK as i've EVER felt...this is beyond anything on EARTH!

:: she had to shout over the roaring winds and raging thunder.::

Persephone is at our 9 o'clock....so we better....

:: Guardian stopped, her cobalt blue eyes widened::

Foxfire, Black Widow....GET DOWN!!

:: Her precognition allowed her just enough of a warning to push them dowdn, and duck down herself, forming a forcefield around them as a MASSIVE, BLINDING WHITE ELDRITCH BOLT came CHARGING FORWARD for them. the blast SLAMMED into the force field as it flew into and over it....but the force field managed to hold and although ROCKED by the impact, the three women were unharmed::

:: from the distance, Guardian could see a tall, female figure approaching..but this wasnt anything human::

its her.....

Demon Sorceress

<< eldritch chimes sound off, as black lighting strikes the ground near the place where the women are protected by the forcefield>>

<< a woman, strides forward, composed of pure magick. her hair flows upward and her feminine, statuesque body is glowing white...though pure magick, her facial features are distinguisable. Persephone would recognize her from images she had seen from a terrifying prediction in the scrying glass years ago back in the world of the Masters of Evil.>>

<< Darkchilde had made the scene...and she was MAD>>

FOOLS! you DARE to tresspass in MY domain!?

<< lifting her hands..whigh were now radiating jagged bolts of pure magick from them, the demon sorceress towered and glared at the women and then at Persephone, not recognizing her for who SHE was.>>

I will DESTROY YOU!

<< chimes sound off as a crescendo of power builds up, finally climaxing in shattering blast of thunder as DC takes aim and FIRES AGAIN a deadly, large, JAGGED blast of dark magick. directed at ALL of the women>>

Its fabulous to have Darkchilde back. She was one of my favorite characters involving role playing. I see you still have her down, even after all this time. Great reaction from her, and display of power.
:: Landing gracefully as she emerged from the stepping disc, Persephone slowly stepped forward as the other three woman finally arrived. Everything was dark...a very evil feel to the area. One that Persephone would normally enjoy, welcome even. But not now...not when she knew what they were going to face. Stepping away from the three woman, Persephone spotted the Soul Sword., a magnificent weapon that she had seen used up close, but under the most horrid of circumstances. Pushing that specific memory of Betrayal and DC to her subconscious, she became focused at the task at hand. ::

:: Hearing Guardian speak, suddenly, the woman yelled out for Black Widow and Foxfire to get down. Turning to the woman before looking to the massive eldritch bolt, Persephone’s eyes widened. Crouching to the ground, Persephone reached behind her back to her Mystic Daggers in which were holstered in a crisscross fashion along the small of her back. Quickly bringing them in front of her, she crossed them as the eldritch bolt SLAMMED into both herself and the three woman. A green halo of mystic energy formed around Persephone, protecting her from the massive bolt as it crashed into them relentlessly. Gritting her teeth as she felt the pressure from the attack weighing heavily on her, she kept her position steady until finally, the onslaught had ended. ::

:: Looking in the distance, she saw her...Darkchilde, in her purely magik state. A state she once saw in DC’s scrying glass many years ago. Standing, Persephone kept her Mystic daggers gripped within her hands at a ready. One facing toward her allowing her to stab someone easily, while the other was faced outward. Watching as DC headed straight for the woman, Persephone stepped forward. ::

"DARKCHILDE!"

:: Her voice raised over the crashing thunder and gusting winds. Calling attention to herself. Persephone’s long chocolate hair blew behind her as she stood at a posed and ready, looking like a true Goddess. ::

"Listen to ME! It’s Persephone!"

I like Persephone's reaction, preparing herself for battle while trying to reason with DC. Love the link to the mystic daggers, they are hella cool.

It's really nice to see Persephone back in action!
Another stepping disk opened horizontally as streaks and strobes of blinding white light flashed from within the disk, giving Darkchilde a clue to some unexpected visitors. Persephone was the first one to jump through landing gracefully followed by the ladies of the Six.

Landing on her long stiletto boots, Blaze barely had time to adjust here. The brewing storm thrashing at these focused group of women. Thunder roared to life, lightning struck with an uncanny viciousness, and the winds were utterly brutal. Foxfire felt her footing slipping as her heels duck into the dirt a top of the plateau. Her head spun wildly like that of Medusa, some of her locks slapping her across the face. Waving both arms across her face to shield against the blunt of the winds, Foxfire grunted in frustration. The hairs on the back of her neck were erect with several lashings of wind slicing across her form - fitting leather uniform.

Flaming yellow eyes burned brightly through the disheveled mess of Blaze's hair, clueing her into a sword so powerful...the same sword that decapitated her in the Inferno. Memories of the Inferno polluting the mutant's concentration here. A few ragged hellish screams broke her reverie to the haunting skies. Behind the blinding lightning were flying winged demons! They resembled that of Bacchae, fierce vampire - like creatures who preyed on human blood. Their facial expressions twisted and unholy as they hissed at the strangers. Pearly white fangs dripped with salvia in contempt a predatory look about them as the mighty wings flapped rapidly.

Guardian's barely audible words were heard, luckily the Seer yelled over the Hurricane - like winds. But some of her wording came out Jared and mumbled here. Blaze strained to hear what her team leader had spoken. She didn't hear the warning at all until at the last minute she was pushed down. Her body falling brutally and off - guard to the nature of the push. Her body smacking down as dirt, rocks, and other earth materials flew and splattered past Foxfire. Her body sore from the push but she understood why as she turned over to her side as a massive white eldritch bolt slammed into the forcefield Guardian provided. It reminded her of the same instance as back in New York City. She felt the forcefield shake and tremble from the impact of the bolt. Her flaming yellow eyes wide with horror.

Looking over in the distance, she saw a statuesque woman towering over anything of this desolate land. Her demeanor and body language leaking an inferno of rage, and she would thrash out at ANYONE, including Persephone. She watched as the haunting Goddess prepared to battle as she called out to her friend.

Back in Inferno they needed Ororo and Karen to sedate a rageful Spellbinder, but both women were missing. Which meant it was up to them! Darkchilde's voice easily BOOMED and stretched over the crashing thunder and winds. Foxfire felt fear clutch her heart...flashbacks of the Inferno cutting into her. Shutting her eyes tightly she felt that fear trying to manipulate and torture her. Gritting her teeth, she balled her hands into tight fists. The more emotional trauma she felt the more humid her body became. Intense flames exploding across Blaze's petite body as chunks of boulders EXPLODED outside of the forcefield. Blaze's body was becoming engulfed into flames of dangerous measures. The flashbacks, the soul sword playing psychological warfare on the young mutant. Standing up inside the force field, her eyes a fiery crimson as she watched on. Foxfire knew she had to calm herself and place her emotions on the back burner. Her eyes flickering and dulling to yellow irises.

She watched on as Persephone attempted to soothe Darkchilde but Foxfire shook her head. "It won't work....my sister did the SAME thing before she plunged the soul sword across my head!" Blaze spoke clearly over the winds, enough for the Goddess to hear. Looking back at Guardian and Black Widow. "This won't be enough...you both know the results of our timeline..." She said grimly, this whole place haunting Blaze to the core as her yellow eyes revealed an anger/sadness combination. The mutant recalled that deadly weapon flying toward her head. Shaking it off, she turned to Guardian.

"We must do something!"

Limbo- the rocky plateau

:: Guardian was at the head of her group as she held out her gloved hand to maintain her forcefield. the sheer size and force of the eldritch bolt was beyond even what MORGAN had been capable of during the Inferno. had she not moved them DOWN to below the brunt of the attack, the forcefield might have shattered....even though her forcefields were supposed to be UNBREAKABLE::

HECATE! the power that she commands.....

:: they were all jarred and shaken by the force...even though it was not directly upon them, and as Guardian got a clear of Darkchilde, her cobalt blue eyes sparkled with intrigue::

The crown jewel of the dark trinity. she represents the ultimate in magickal power in the multiverse!

:: if not for the clear and present danger- Alison would actually appreciate the beauty that this woman , who was composed of pure magick, represented::

:: checking over Foxfire, Guardian grabbed her arm::

Blaze, GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF! none of our powers are at full strength here. if you cause any random changes in HER envrionment, she may take that as an agressive move and try to destroy you...US!

:: Guardian looked out and saw Persephone attempting to confront Darkchilde and as Blaze commented, Guardian sensed an impending disaster::

I believe you are right. my limited precognition indicates that this moment was FORESEEN before by the members of Darkchilde's coven...that she would destroy even her own sister wraiths in this form for she is devoid of compassion, love or even a shred of humanity....this is...the epitome of a life time of pain and loss. Her way of never EVER having to deal with it again.

:: pausing as the wild weather patterns around them seemed to rejoice in the presence of Darkchilde::

As much as i already dislike Persephone, We must find a way to communicate with Darkchilde before she destroys the last link to her former life....and before she tries to kill US as well.

:: Guardian began to think of a way to reach DC without appearing to be overtly hostile. of them all, Guardian was the only magick user present beside DC and while she couldnt hope to match the darkchilde in a raw mystical fire fight, she DID have other methods to get someone's attention...the tactician of the six began to quickly come up with scenarios , using her hampered precognition to try to gauge how likely any of them were to succeed until finally she snapped her fingers::

I know the very thing! but i must wait to time this JUST RIGHT!

:: Guardian , Foxfire and Black Widow watched as Persephone bravely stood her ground against her friend and sister Dire Wraith.::

Great visuals here. I like the usage of Guardian being the "team captain" she takes charge and it shows even with her new state of being. She STILL kicks ass.
someone from her past?

<< Darkchilde brought with her a wave of violence as the weather patterns began to wildly react to their mistress>>

<< her attention was caught by a dark and sultry woman, who seemed to cope with Darkchilde's first attack, she manifested 'Mystic Daggers', the objects seemed somehow FAMILAR to her as she watched the woman regroup and scream her name!>>

<< Darkchilde took a battle pose as she glared at and through Persephone. It had been 25 years. 25 years since the masters of evil had been decimated and Darkchilde had violently avenged her friends and family, it was the ultimate heart break that she could not recover frrom...so born out of a need to be free of the pain of the isolation she had always experienced, she EVOLVED to a state beyond simply being human.>>

<< but PERSEPHONE had survived! she was not dead. Darkchilde seemed to hesitate for a moment>>

You may know my name, woman, but you are not supposed to be here!

<< extending her glowing hand which radiated jagged bolts of mystic energy from it, Darkchilde casts a spell>>

Vines CLING keep her well!
safe and out of the jaws of HELL!

<< the ground began to tremble as monstrous green thorned vines sprung up all around Persephone and seemed ALIVE with fenzy and glee as the rushed down upon her. wrapping her up tight and circling her from her neck down to her feet. they seemed to grow and merge together to encase Persephone, leaving on her head free. Although TIGHTLY constricted, Persephone was not being injured...not YET. But the vines WOULD nullify many of Persephone's powers as they were enchanted.>>

No one is supposed to be here but ME! I have no friends!

<< her stereophonic voice boombed and echoed >>

:: Keeping her eyes focused on Darkchilde, Persephone knew that her chances of getting through to her in her current state was slim to none...but she literally had nothing to loose. No family, no friends, no coven. She was stripped of her life and her world 25 years ago, and the only remaining link was standing 10 feet away and ready to kill her. ::

"I was brought here by YOU!"

:: She yelled once again, over the noise and commotion around her. But before she could continue any further, Darkchilde extended her hand out and began to say a spell. DC's experience with magick was unbelievable, and any spell, incantation, or potion she produced was lethal. Moving forward as the ground beneath her began to rumble, vines suddenly burst through the concrete and wrapped around both Persephone's legs, rendering her immobile. ::

"DC!"

:: Gritting her teeth as the vines wrapped around her body and began to constrict her, Persephone had to think fast before DC attacked more violently. She could already feel her powers become even more hampered down within the vine cocoon; most likely they were enchanted. ::

"Listen to me. I came with you to limbo 25 years ago to fight against the original Dire Wraiths..."

:: As she spoke trying to buy time, Persephone released her grip on one of her Mystic Daggers; the dagger staying pinned against her thigh from the vine’s pressure. Her fingers had very little room to move, but it was doable. Sliding her pinky nail deeply along the side of her thigh, her leather suite and skin cut like butter. Blood immediately began to pour down her leg, leaking onto the vines. A soft sizzling could be heard as Persephone's acid based blood began to burn through the vines, causing the vines to react and giving the goddess a bit of "breathing room". Wrapping her hand around her daggers once again, Persephone brought the mystic based weapon up roughly, cutting the vines in a single line, causing them to drop to her feet. ::

"My body was failing too fast in Limbo...I had to stay back while you went on. I AM your friend! I AM your SISTER!"

:: Stepping past the mass of vines, Persephone’s blood trickled along her leather suite, leaving splatters of bubbling blood along the stone plateau. ::

"Look at me--Look into my eyes and you’ll know I’m telling you’re the truth!"

:: The winds continued to howl around the area, whipping Persephone's main of hair around her body. Logically speaking, there was no reason for Darkchilde to believe her....but in the pit of her stomach, she couldn't help but HOPE she would. ::

Whipping her head around Blaze's eyes locked with Alison who managed to forcefully yank her arm. The Seer was attempting to break though the shards of misery and backlash of this realm. She was startled by Guardian's grip but she relaxed, calming herself down to a low simmer. Nodding to Guardian she turned back to overhear Persephone struggle with Darkchilde's animated vines.

"I sense more in Persephone....I cannot fully 'read' her but I know behind that dark - tainted soul is a woman...like Morgan. She's got nothing left so she feels its useless to struggle...but in her heart she still fights. I think we can work satisfactory with her."

She watched on as the battle between DC and Persephone continued, it seemed like DC would win this round. However, Persephone managed to cut her own skin which was of an acidic nature. She's full of surprises now...very Alien like. She saw the green vines drop and fall to the ground, freeing the Goddess.

Turning back to Guardian, "well, I'd love, to hear your plan Guardian. Its not like we're stuck between a rock or hard place or anything." She said, her sarcasm usually became more fluent when the situation became more dangerous.

"What's the plan Guardian?" She glanced back at Alison to stare into her bewitching blue eyes. Now was the time to move, before the situation worsened.
