:: the flow of information about Seth and all that was related to it, between Ikaris, Riana, and Christian was too much for Rayden to process in so little time...He was confused...all he understood was all three of them were leaving to save this person...Seth. Hearing the vampire talk, Rayden realised this was not going to be something easy... ::

:: As everyone went their own way, Rayden stood there, unsure of what to do...looking at the bar, he observed Christian... ::

talk to him ...? seems unlikely he'd talk back...still...gotta try

:: he walks upto Christian, confusion invading his soul...He reaches the bar, and looks at him...pointing to the bar stool, he spoke in a low tone, friendlier than earlier... ::

"Mind if I sit ? ...this mission...it's gonna be dangerous isn't it?...I mean if you fear this Seth's father more then Riana ...then he's really gotta be powerful...What time and where are you leaving from ?"

:: His eyes locked on Christian, in a way pleeding for him to answer...::
 
Ikaris laughs with the Black Queen.

"Dearheart, you know how vampires are. Brooding creatures of the Night, tortured souls, the usual nonsense, refusing to revel in the power and immortality that they have been given. Far too serious for their own good in MY opinion. Caine was the same way, I think its passed down through the blood. The only ones with any sense of fun are the Sabbat. Now THEY appreciate a good time."

"This one has some information on an old "friend" of Ri's, one that she thought dead, Seth, I think his name is. It turns out that its all an eloborate lie and he is the captive of his father. Riana wants to stage a rescue but Christian is concerned about the power of the father. Same drivel, different day.
I volunteered to help Ri out since the vamp was so very concerned about this father."

Ikaris smiles as Scorpion begins chewing on one of the bar seats.

"Scorpion is a perfect name, I noticed that the little thing is much stronger than it looks and would imagine that he packs quite the sting. I'll keep an eye out for any more like him, it might be nice for you to have a breeding pair, assuming of course that they do breed. Can you imagine the fun an entire litter would be?"

Ikaris smiles wickedly at Christy, a gleem in his eye.

"Shall we have a bit of fun? Transforming the heads of the mortals into the animal they most remind us of?"

Ikaris murmers the transformation spell and points at a woman trying to impress several of the guests, her head glows for a moment before becoming that of a donkey, braying loudly.

"Your turn sweets!"
 
:: Laying in her large bathtub with her eyes closed Riana let the information about Seth and all that had happend to him come to her, she had loved him so deeply once, when he left and she got the news he had been killed she was heartbroken for a long time, only when Rayden came into her live again was she able to love again.."

"O Rayden.. how hard this must be on you.. but I have to do this... I owe it too Seth and the love we once shared"

:: Picking up a lufa she began to wash her long legs enjoying the warmth of the water on her cool skin, rinsing of the soap she got out of the tub, looking up David was standing near the tub holding a plush towel for her to wrap herself in ::

"Thank you David..."

David:

"Are you sure this journey is save? I hate to see you get hurt.. or worse"

Riana:

"Thanks for your concern sweetie, but this is something I have to do.. and Ikaris is joining me, he and I can surely handle all that we come upon"

:: Picking up a bottle of her favourite bodylotion she handed it too him turning her back to him she dropped the towel, David took the hint and began to aply the lotion to her smooth skin, a worried frown on his face ::

David:

"I still don't like it... but I trust your judgement"

:: Riana looked over her shoulder at him and smiled faintly, she appriciated his concern and caring, as David was done aplying the lotion she walked into her bedroom, opening a drawer she took out a simple set of lingerie, the black bra and matching thong were sporty jet feminine ::
 
:: Sitting, hunched over the bar, Christian sensed someone at his side. Before he looked up he had a good idea who it was. Glancing at the seat Rayden was pointing at, Christian then nodded as if to say it was okay for him to sit down. Continuing to nod::

"Yes, very dangerous. I fear him more than anything in the world. That and what he's done to Seth. We figure if Seth sees Riana and she can get to him, all of this will stop. I'm worried that Riana and Ikaris are underestimating him...."

:: When Rayden asked when they were leaving, Christian leant backwards a little and studied him. They had gotten off on the wrong foot when Christian first arrived at Hellfire. Worried about Christian moving in on Riana. That was never Christian's intention. He sighed as he saw just how serious Rayden was::

"Midnight tomorrow, we are meeting here. But can I ask you a few questions? Are you going to come? I recommend that you shouldnt. I mean do you seriously want to go on a mission that will help save Riana's former lover? Not only that, its a big risk to get involved in something that could get you killed......"

:: In truth Christian thought it would be good if Rayden came, the more numbers they had, then maybe the better their chances were in saving Seth::
 
:: Rayden sat down. Hearing the tone of Christian's voice, Rayden understood that this was going to be far more complicated then Riana or Ikaris would expect. Rayden could feel it inside of his gut too... ::

something is going to happen....

:: His eyes widened when Christian asked him if he was going to join them...he did, and felt that Christian could see right through him, which usually was a feeling he didn't like, but at this point it seemed like there was much more important things going through his head.. he knew cooperation would be key in this mission... ::

"I do plan on joining..I think you already knew that...I don't really embrace the idea of saving her former lover...because I don't know what will happen when she does see him, and if he gets better...but I support her, and love her deeply...I have to stand by her side..I won't let her go into something that seems this bad without me going with her...I want to help..."

:: leaning over the bar, he sighs, and leans back against the stool, stretching his arms...::

"Alright...midnight tomorrow...I'll meet you here then."

:: he gets off his stool, turning away from Christian he starts to walk but stops suddenly. Lightly turning his head to the side ::

"Oh...and I'm sorry about the way I acted earlier..have a bad temper sometimes.."

:: looking back in front of him, he walked towards Riana's quarters. Once there he knocked. David opened him the door, and he entered seeing Riana's bags packed...he had forgotten about him taking anything..::

ah, what the hell...not like I need much, I've got everything on me...

:: Rayden didn't plan on telling Riana he was going with them because he knew she'd try to stop him from going. His soul and aura were clear, he knew Riana wouldn't be able to suspect him of anything..walking towards her he kisses her cheek, wrapping his arms around her, he whispers into her ear ::

"I'm with you...till the end"
 
:: As Rayden entered her quarters Riana felt him before she saw him, standing with her back to him while putting on a pair of black leather pants (bootcut) and a matching leather bustier, as he kissed her cheeck she turned to him faintly smiling ::

"Hey.."

:: As Rayden put his arms around her and whispered in her ear she froze for a moment, turning in his arms she looked him in the eyes ::

"You're not coming with me.. it's too dangerous and I won't let you get hurt"

:: Moving away she began to pack more clothes for the journey, Rayden could tell she was very tense ::
 
:: looking at her as she packed more stuff, he spoke calmly ::

"Ri, I respected your decision to go, now respect mine. I am going. You beat my ass down as many times as you want. You can tie me up. But I'll go. Don't expect me to let you go into some big party without taking me along for the fun. I'm in this rollercoaster. "

:: he leaned against the wall, his eyes closed and arms crossed, waiting for her to react. He knew she was tense, but wasn't sure how she would react, or try to stop him. She knew she wasn't going to let him go, or at least not easily. ::
 
:: Turning around she looked at him her eyes glowing a bright Aqua ::

"Fine.. go.. get killed"

:: Storming past him into the bathroom she began to gather some things in there to bring with her, looking in the mirror she began to brush her hair trying to calm down, speaking softly more to herself then to him she tied her hair up in a low ponytail ::

"It's not like I will have time to protect you.. and you don't know what his dad is like.. or even what Seth will be like.. Damn Rayden.."
 
:: Rayden felt like his insides crashed when she told him dryly to go die...He knew that's how she wanted him to feel. Rayden didn't really fear death itself...he feared not being around her anymore more. He brushed his hair out of his eyes. ::

"I'm going.. I don't know what this joy ride is going to be like, but then again nor do you. You saw the vampire's face when he talked about his dad...you have no idea what you're walking into. All I know is I'm going to regret not going, and you're going to need as many people as you can get. Now stop worrying about me. Just focus on saving ...Seth."

:: he stormed into the bathroom, grabbing her unexpectedly and kissed her hard and long, in an attempt to lower the tension..he pulled away looking into her eyes, his sparkling black, reassuring her that everything was going to be okay..he softly caressed her arms putting his forehead to hers, looking at the ground ::
 
:: As Rayden kissed her long and hard she leaned into him kissing him back with anger and love at the same time, pulling back she rested her head against his ::

"That's it.. I don't know what I'm walking into.. that's why I don't want you with me.. before I was a Dire Wraith there would have been no way I could even come close to Seth's Dad's power and now.. I don't even know if I can beat him.."

:: Sighing she took his face into her hands looking him into his eyes ::

"Please promisse me you'll be careful.. I won't have time to watch your back.. and I won't loose you.."
 
:: as Riana takes his face into her hands, he places his hands gently on hers, looking into her eyes without blinking ::

"I'll be fine...we'll be 4...Don't worry...I believe in my abilities...and I believe in yours...you'll never lose me.."

:: he kisses the palm of her hand ::

"Together, we can do it, I have faith in you. And Ikaris, and we also have Christian..."

:: he nodded ::

"We'll be fine, trust me."
 
:: Nodding she looked back at him ::

"I know you do.. and I know you can handle yourself.. but this is stronger then anything you've been up against.. and for Christian to be this frightend of it.. believe me Vampires don't scare that eassely.. and Seth.. I don't know what will happen if he sees me"

:: Sighing she turned away walking back into her bedroom she sat down on the large bed pulling her legs under her ::

"The thing is.. I don't know if we will be fine.. there is a big chance we won't be..."

:: Pausing she looked up at him, moving a hand through her hair ::

"Do you want David to pack your things for you? or get you some clothing to bring with you, just name it and he'll get it for you"
 
:: Rayden had a little idea in mind to relax Riana...The perfect moment to execute his idea revealed itself when she asked him if she wanted David to pack him anything.. ::

"Don't know...I'll be wearing most of my stuff on me...but yeah...some black clothes would be nice..something light...good for combat...That will be all David, thank you.."

:: While David packed a bag for him, he looked at a closet where had placed all the accessories he'd be wearing on him for the trip...When David was finished, Rayden looked at him and back at Riana with a glint in his eyes. Smirking..::

"You may leave now David, Riana will summon you if she needs anything else, but for now I think she needs some rest"

:: watching him leave, Rayden walks to the bed where she sat, lifting her chin with his finger he kissed her passionately...laying her on the bed he let his body take control...:: ;)

:: Laying in Rayden's arms Riana slept quietly, the news of Seth had worn her out and she needed the rest before they would head on their Journey, moving a little she began to dream images flashing trough her brain like a movie ::

Riana's Dream

:: Walking through a long hall with doors on either side she felt like she was searching something, opening one door after another she looked inside to find it empty, walking on she reached another door pushing it open it was completly dark inside, lifting her hand a energy ball formed in her hand lighting the room, in a corner sat a man tied too a chair his body clad in dirty shredded clothing, walking closer to him she let out a soft sound as she saw who it was ::

"Seth.. I have to get you out of here.. it's not safe.."

:: Walking closer to him he lifted his head too look at her, his eyes bloodred he looked at her with pure hate making Riana stumble backwards ::

Seth:

"GET OUT!! DON'T YOU KNOW I HATE YOU... HATE YOU HEAR ME"

End of Riana's dream

:: Waking up with a gasp Riana sat up in bed, her body trembeling as she remembered the images from her dream ::

"O God.. Seth.."

:: Walking towards one of the windows she looked outside wrapping her arms around herself in comfort, a new day was just setting... today the would leave on their journey, looking over at the bed she watched Rayden sleep, getting back into bed she moved closer to him resting her head against his shoulder she closed her eyes trying to get back to sleep ::
 
:: Rayden had woken up when he heard Riana's gasp, but had chosen not to move, knowing that if he did, they would have stayed awake longer then needed...they needed their sleep. He paid closely attention to her as she got up and went to the window, making sure if she was alright, his eyes nearly shut, it was impossible to tell that he was awake. As she went back to bed and closer to him, he put his arm around her waist, and kissed the back of her neck, and went back to sleep. ::

:: Rayden woke up early the next morning, at the first sight of sunshine. Not being able to go back to sleep, he just laid there, next to Ri, listening to her heart beat. He smiled, and looked at the window, seeing sun rays penetrating inside the room ::

Better make this day count...
 
:: Waking up some time later she looked up at Rayden seeing that he was awake she smiled at him kissing him on the cheeck ::

"Morning love, how did you sleep?"

:: Wrapping her arm around his waist she moved closer to him resting her head on his chest, today was the day they would leave to go find Seth.. and it would be a dificult journey.. especially if what she saw in her dream was true ::

Please don't let it be true.. please... don't let him hate me
 
:: hearing movement next to him, and feeling a kiss a few seconds later, Rayden realised that Riana had woken up. He turned his head facing her a smile upon his face ::

"Heyyy gorgeous"

:: he looks into her eyes winking, placing his index finger under her chin to lean in and kiss her ::

"I slept okay, for a night with lots of tension in the air and all, you know how that goes..How about you?"

:: as she lay her head on his chest, Rayden playfully ran his hand through her silky hair...Rayden felt a slight cloudyness in her aura...he could tell she was worried. Figuring the only way he could take her mind to a relax zone was to keep her occupied..::

"So, what do you want to do today ?"
 
:: Smiling back at him Riana listend to his heartbeat lying in his arms she felt a little more relaxed as before, as Rayden asked her what she wanted to do she lifted her head from his chest and looked him in the eyes ::

"Well I don't know.. how about some training... we both could use the excersise and it will warm up our muscles for the journey later today, I've seen that there is a gym in this place maybe we could go and check it out..."

:: Sitting up she waved her hand a robe appeared in a deep blue color, slipping it on a chyming sound was heared, a few seconds later David entered the bedroom ::

"David, I want you to find both master Ikaris as well as Christian and tell them to lett me know when they want to leave, also provide the vampire with a suply of fresh GoL blood, I think O positive is his favourite, he'll need to get his strength build up and this will help"

:: David nodded and left the room leaving Riana and Rayden alone once again ::

"Okay.. let's do this, I'm going to take a quick shower, be back in a few"

:: Getting out of bed she walked to the bathroom, taking of her robe she stepped into the huge shower area, turning on the water she stepped under the spray letting the fluids wash away all the tension in her body ::
 
"training ? Hmmm"

:: Rayden sat up against the wall, laying on the bed. He flexed his arm and poked at his muscle ::

"Guess I could use some exercise"

:: Rayden watches Riana go into the bathroom and heard water drops a couple of seconds later. He figured there was no point in taking a shower before a training session, so he just got out of bed, and started putting his clothes on. Once finished he sat down on a couch playing around with a fire ball tossing it from one hand to another, waiting for Riana to come out ::
 
:: Stepping out of the shower Riana walked back into the bedroom wearing a plush towel, looking over at Rayden she smirked ::

"Be carefull with that thing.. you might burn the place"

:: Walking to her dresser she put on a pair of light blue panties and a matching bra, taking out a pair of light blue faded jeans and a white tee with a text on the front saying "No Angel" she got dressed, pulling her long hair into a pony tail and slipping on a pair of baby blue Nike sneakers she was ready ::

"Okay let's go, time to get into action"

:: Walking to the door she waited for Rayden to follow her as the headed for the gym ::
