The Clock Tower
[ It has been a truly harrowing evening. ]
[ That Talisman woman had managed to cause quite a bit of chaos, and it was clear that the attack had been crafted in detail, with Karen as the primary target. ]
[ Shadow Weaver was no slouch or novice, she'd the woman push back monsters like SET, but Talisman caught her UNAWARE. Not very courageous OR remarkable on Talisman's part, but since when had honor or being forthright ever been a hallmark of a villain?]
[ Talisman had USED Frost...or rather a lingering presence of Frost's essence, an "ECHO" of her being left behind in her native reality...to vex Karen, and by extension Delilah, Alycia, Zachary, Vivica, and Sharon herself! As a mother, Sharon understood how Karen about Frost and the need to help her. She was also ANGERED by Talisman using that child. It didn't matter the true nature of the being they had seen as Frost...she'd been given form, consciousness and LIFE by that witch- according to Mina- in the most obscene way.]
[ For what she did to Karen, and for the way she used Frost, she'd earned an instant enemy in the form of the Silver Swan, and as cold as she may be, she still breathed...she still had a BODY that could be beaten, BROKEN, TORN APART.]
[ Speaking of THAT, there was that DOMINO woman as well. THAT creature....why did she RESONATE with Sharon in some way? The woman had SURVIVED one of Sharon's brutal assaults AND even molested her before retreating. She was right, they WOULD meet again, and Silver Swan would make sure she DIDN'T get away so easily. ]
[ After offering a silent amazonian prayer for the fallen Frost, and bidding Karen and Delilah farewell for now, Sharon returned to the clocktower with her team.]
[ Isis confirmed them to be free of the effects of the spell, but Sharon and Alycia would NOT forget that girl. That was something she'd spoke of earlier in the evening...it wouldn't be that way this time. She WOULD be remembered for her courage, her bravey, and fighting until the last breath was crushed from her breast!]
[ Sharon studied Alycia, she worried about her friend and sister amazon. She'd been effected on a deeper level than the other three "Birds" and she would definitely speak with her about this privately, away from the others.]
[ At the MOMENT, Valkyrie was once again being an ill tempered wench. She truly couldn't help herself!? More than likely she didn't CARE to. She was incredibly long lived, older than anyone in the room, but perhaps there was one disadvantage to BEING so long lived, and that was....the oldest, worst habits of a person stayed with them as long as they lived...and only became WORSE as the person became convinced that their way was the right way. Maybe the woman's MIND was addled from centuries of being ill tempered and living in a time when someone like her was never going to be well received?]
[ This would be the most thought Sharon gave to it for now, as she'd had ENOUGH of the woman for A MONTH at least after how many TASTELESS moments she'd generated with her mouth tonight.]
[ As the woman slammed Isis, Sharon and Alycia grimmed her , and the amazons caught the eye of both Oracle AND Steel, with Steel shaking his head negative at Sharon once again. ]
[ Was this how it'd be? someone having to REFEREE at every turn?]
[ Ashley eventually stomped away, slamming her door. For a woman to be well over 1000 years old, she was acting every bit of 10...MAYBE 12 at the moment? NEITHER amazon was impressed, and it was no secret what Ashley thought of THEM. Could it be said that Ashley was BIGOTED toward Amazons?]
:: Alycia rolled her hazel eyes at Ashley. That woman could fall into an active volcano, and Alycia would probably feel less concern than one would feel when stepping on an insect.::
:: The sad truth, however, was that was NOT how anyone should feel toward a fellow teammate, and this rift was rather petty considering what they'd just went through, but even in that moment of pain and loss for Karen, Valkyrie remained crass. Alycia had been "the bigger person" before with others, THIS woman, in her mind, was not worth the effort.::

My husband and I had it, and when he died....when he was murdered by Diana in Arklay mansion....I, as his widow, inherited his membership. It's lifetime.
I RESIDED at the hellfire mansion for a brief period, following my initial return to man's world from Themyscira. My revival and transformation into this form that I now have....it had happened not too long ago at that time, and it was a VERY difficult process for me to comprehend , a new existance that was difficult for me to acclimate to. I'd TRIED being apart of the Six, but it didn't work out, and so...with my husband and son dead, unable to return to my life as a senator, and no where else for me to go....I took up residence there.
But while there, I was just....your "typical" hellfire club member.
[ as if being "typical" there was somehow a lowly thing. even the typical hellfire club member had more wealth and connection than most any other average person would know in theier life time, and Sharon had the estate of her husband, which Alycia KEPT out of probate even after her death at the hands of Master Mold, she ALSO had financial assets from her time as the senator of New York City.]
[ Dominique couldn't help but smirk, because ASHLEY had been CAST OUT of the Hellfire Club, and now she was in the presence of not one, but THREE people who had more substantial connections to the club than she. This, coupled with Talisman's biting remark to her about her failure on the red court SURELY would be a source of ongoing agitation for the sheild maiden]

[ A surprising display of humor from the mutate, but Sharon was well versed in the greek pantheon, and unlike many people in this world, she knew they were REAL, and being that he was a speedster, coupled with the stories she'd heard on Themyscira, it was the perfect way to break the ice with the young man. She too had seen him in the cathedral. He seemed friendly and his display in the citadle indicated he was no amateur either! ]
