THE BLAQUE KAT-familiars and companions.

"The difference is simply in the age and the present capabilities of the hound. The young adults are ready to be fully trained for battle, they only have some basic techiniques learned. The pups haven't been trained at all and are basically blank slates for you to train in the fashion that you want. The adults are also capable of burning hotter than the pups though the pups can get extremely hot as well."

"Hmm....I will probably take a pup so I can train it almost entirely myself...What kind of abilities can they learn? You did say the adults know some basic techniques so does that mean that a Hellhound can learn "tricks"?"

"Hellhounds are capable of learning various attacks including the tearing the hamstrings of their opponents which prevents the opponent from running away. They frequently rip out the throats of the enemy and of course there is the flame factor. Only you, a fire elemental or someone of a much higher level (yours plus two) would be able to touch the hound without suffering burns. Of course the beast would still attack anyone except you, they simply would not be burned. You can also teach the hounds to track by psychic scent. They wont give up the trail until they have cornered the one they are tracking."

A black spiral forms within the Blaque Kat Pet shop with a low rumbling sound, revealing Dev within its midst.

"Greetings Ikaris..."

As he speaks that, Dev's dragon Crisp seemingly appeared out of no where and flew to his side before landing with quite a sound.

"Great place you have here... The dragons look pretty healthy... Well, as you can see here, i own this dragon. His name is Crisp... However, he was purchased quite some time ago, before the dragon species were identified... I'd like to enquire about my dragon's nature, and what type of dragon he actually is. Maybe you could cast a transformation spell or something and allow him to evolve into a silver form... I'm not too sure..."

"I see...Hellhounds sound very interesting...I believe I will take a pup, that way I can teach him everything myself and I can feel like I have made a great acomplishment. You said it was 11000 gil?"

::Handing over the gil to Ikaris, Drag waits to recieve his new Hellhound::

|| Zhane walked into Ikaris' Pet shop of darkness, admiring the surrounding pets and the variety. He was looking for something different, something deadly and a favourite pet of his. That would be a snake, one similar to Tuatha's, a heroine evil Witch of his kind. Zhane walked up to the counter opposite to Ikaris. ||

Ikaris: "Do you take special orders?"

Ikaris takes the gil from Drag and puts it away. He heads into the back to the shoppe and returns very shortly with a hellhound pup. Setting it on the floor next to Drag, he waits to see if the pup will take to him. After a couple minutes of the pup sniffing at Drag's leg, he is happily tugging on Drag's pant leg and making puppy grunting sounds as he tries to tear the pant leg. He turns to his next customer as Drag and his pup fade from the shoppe.

Ikaris raises an eyebrow at Dev's request. Dragons are always identified by their color. Though his familiar was a very odd greenish color.

"Devon, you reall shouldn't allow your dragon to wallow in the dirt and mud so much, its really not healthy. Besides this gunk hides the identifying colors."

Waving a hand in a casual gesture causes Crisp to be imprisioned in bands of shadows and moved to the grooming area. Washing the creature several times reveals that it is already a silver dragon. The beast spits sparks of fire at Ikaris who has finished the cleanup. A low growl from Embyr puts the end to that particular conversation. No sooner is Crisp clean than it is flying out the back door to wallow in the dirt, hating to be clean. Ikaris shakes his head at Devon.

"Its not a dragon, its a pig, rooting around and wallowing in the dirt."

He reaches up on a shelf and pulls down a jar that he hands to Devon. Put this on his wings once a day. It will help keep the dirt and grime from injuring his wings."

Letting Devon go to fetch his newly dirty dragon, Ikaris approaches Zhane.

"Of course, what is it exactly that you are looking for?"

::Ikaris had walked to the back of the shop and returned with a very healthy lookin Hellhound pup. Smiling, Drag waited to see if Ikaris's test would porve that the pup would belong to him. As it tugged on his pant leg, Drag smiled again and thanked Ikaris before dissappearing from the shop::

|| Zhane placed his hands on the counter and most of his body weight rested on his arms. ||

Ikaris: “I’m looking for a serpent. Not just any regular one. The species I desire are quite rare, and deadly having lethal poison. Tangerine Hondurans are covered with a bloodline skin having high keen senses and can grow to impressive sizes. I’d like the creature to be enchanted with the ability of infinite sizing to size others, itself or me. I’d also like you to bind its soul to mine and for me to use that property to channel my magic through it and vice versa. Will that be of a difficulty to acquire?”

|| He hoped for Ikaris to give him a positive response. ||

Ikaris listens to Zhane's description of the serpent that he wants carefully.

"I'm certain that I have access to getting a Tangerine Honduran without much trouble. The problem lies in the fact that I don't enchant the familiars that I sell other than to bond them to their owners if the bonding isn't a normal part of their species. The Hondurans already maintain a size changing ability similar to that of a Naga but that is limited to themselves and is unable to affect others. There is only a limited amount of magic that you would be able to focus through the snake. Its a matter of power capacity and it would take a more evolved creature to be able to channel magick of the level you are likely to have in mind. You would be able to use the serpent as a second set of eyes and to direct its attack against others though. Another feature of the Honduran serpent is its ability to regenerate from any wound that leaves its head intact. That would include burning the serpent provided the ashes are not disturbed during the regeneration process. (regeneration takes one post). Of course I would also include an immunity to the creature's poison for you at no extra charge. The going price is 9000 gil. Of course if you want, you can also look at the Nagas. They have similiar abilities.

Ikaris: "Fascinating. But before making my decision, I'd like to know what is the limit of magic that I can channel into the creature? Money is not a problem so far."

Dev watched in amusement as Ikaris handled Crisp expertly. He knew the primal demon knew his stuff right, and wouldn't do anything that would harm his dragon. Dev had full confidence in Ikaris. As Ikaris washed his dragon clean, revealing a silver hide, Dev gave a slight grin as Crisp promptly dirtied himself all over again.

"Well, i never... I thought he had those dirt naturally... Well, looks like i really should mind the hygiene of my dragon more. I will be sure to apply this on him... Hmmm... Its strange... I always thought dragons could only breath fire... So thats all i commanded him to do... To think he had other elemental capabilities! I must be terrible as a pet owner... Bah... To think i call myself an animal lover... Well, thanks very much anyway Ikaris. I'll take my leave now."

With that, Dev turned towards the direction where Crisp flew and promptly shifted himself to his dragon's side with his usual teleportation effects. He petted Crisp a few moments, and the both then vanished from the familiar shop grounds in a large black spiral with a low rumbling noise.

OOC:
Not quite sure what you are wanting. The serpent would be able to let you see through its eyes, attack on command(telepathic or verbal), inflict a venomous bite (poison must be counteracted in three posts or the victim of your level and lower falls to unconsciousness and will die in two additional posts)and regenerate from any damage that left its head intact. That is about it. It would not be able to shoot fireballs, lightning or cast spells.

OOC: Aha that's what I wanted.

|| Zhane slipped his hand inside his pocket and took out the exact change. He handed them to Ikaris by placing them on the counter and waited for him to bring the snake. ||

Ikaris takes the gil from Zhane and puts it away. He heads in back and returns a few minutes later carrying Zhane's serpent in one hand and a small goblet in the other. The goblet contains a potion that is still slightly smoking.

"Drink this before you handle the snake. It's the immunity potion to the snakes venom."

Handing Zhane the goblet, he waits for him to drink the foul smelling but good tasting antidote. The serpent in coiled around Ikaris' wrist and turns its head nervously towards the Dominion from time to time. Evidently Ikaris had shown the creature who was the bigger threat and the now cowed snake remembered the lesson clearly.

|| Zhane reached his hand out as Ikaris handed him the potion. He flipped open the cork with his thumb and nervously drank the potion with a single gulp. ||

"I think I'm ready now."

|| His face lit up as a smile appeared on his face, awaiting his snake to go to daddy. ||

Ikaris hands the snake over to Zhane and watches as he leaves the shop with his new found companion. Not finding any waiting customers, Ikaris uses his magicks to cleanup the store before heading in back once more to tend to the animals.

|| The Tangerine Hondurans crawled up his arm and around his neck before Zhane left the shop satisfied. ||

::Jinx walks in the shop and approached Ikaris..::

"Hi Ikaris, uhm, do you happen to have a sphynx? cause I would like to have that winged monster with a head and a body of a lion and can fire firebolts through its mouth? I know this is too much to ask but do you have one or something like that?"

::Jinx waited eagerly for his response..::
