So Police in Texas and California are testing out a new system that will log every single bullet used by cops using Bluetooth as well as when/where the bullet was used and i got to say with the push for wearable cameras i think i like this future for law enforcement. Maybe its all the unarmed black people getting shot but this seems like it could make things a great deal safer (also maybe they should add the tech to civilian arsenals too)

I agree this could really be of good use to people. I've watched a series of videos lately that show how big of dicks the cops can be, and I know the saying that a lot of people like to say: "99% of cops are good, you just tend to meet the 1%" but as time goes on I just don't know how true I believe that is. We have light psychiatric testing for cops, most of the training is a joke, and time and time again we see stories where policemen just get off for doing things that no private citizen would ever get away with. It's a hard situation because on the one hand you want Police to be able to protect us, but more often than not, it seems as if we are the victims of a system where out of control boys are given guns and authority, and that kind of power just corrupts.

it might be my little leftist heart but I really can't deal with sheer abuse of authority in the US, there isn't really anyone watching out for people any more. There's so much to reform, so much that needs to be thrown out, so much corruption but something as basic as be able to walk the streets of your home safely shouldn't be reserved for the rich.
