Jan Hooks, ‘Saturday Night Live’ Star, Dead at 57

Sad news

I remember her impressions of Kathie Lee Gifford on SNL, & of course the Sweeny Sisters skit she did w/ Nora Dunn :haha:

I also remember her character on Designing Women in it's last years. The show never seemed to recover after Delta Burke & Jean Smart left, but Hooks' character was a decent addition. She also had a small roles in 'PeeWee
s Big adventure' (as the Alamo tour guide) & 'Batman Returns' as Penguin's image consultant when he was running for mayor of Gotham City.

I always loved her. Especially on Designing Women as Karlene! :haha:

She also did great playing Jane Krakowski's mother on 30 Rock a few times. She will definitely be missed.
