There are many disply cases , tables, body forms and other set ups to show case the jewelry, accessories and fashions that Illustra has to offer.......the over all decor of the store is accented by silver borders......soft concealed blue lighting and a hard edge appearence ......a cool refreshing breeze tops it all off>>
 
"Let's see what we have for you. How about something along the lines of healing yourself or others? You never know when it might come in handy. I have a couple of the gems myself, you can't be too careful."

Ikaris activates his own Shadow Armor to show Desire the Healing gems he had purchased, before dismissing the armor.

"These gems are also enchanted so always retain their sparkle. The healing stud runs 3800 gil normally but with your appreciation discount it will run you 3000 gil, hon."

Healing stud: Can heal minor injuries repeatedly per thread and major life threatening injuries twice per thread.

"Would you like this wrapped?"
 
:: Desire raised her eyebrows at Ikaris' kindness and smiled, taking the rainbow topaz gem. She placed on her nose and then handed the gil to Ikaris. ::

"Wow, thank you for yet another discount. I think i will wear it out. Thanks so much Ikaris, I love it."

:: The Dark Faerie disappeared from the shop smiling. ::
 
::Before walking out of the store, Drag thinks of another thing he could probably use::

"Hey, Ikaris, would it be possible for a staff made of pure energy? Pure dark energy? I'm sure it could become quite useful in my arsenal of abilities and weapons. All I desire is that it would let me tap into the essence of darkness and cause gravitational blasts. With such an ability, while holding the staff I could easily bind an opponent to the earth or even make them float uncontrollably"

OOC: Drag, you might want to check out the Dark Forge for the weaponry and as for the gil, you need to use the donate function under DC's name to pay the monies to her. I dont handle any of the monies at all that way.
 
:: a fire comes in and it moves around and then it rolls up and when it rolls down again Gwendolyn stands there, she wanted some more things to her collection. And then she saw Ikaris standing there and she walked up to him ::

"Hey handsome... I would like a... something that has some form of protection shield that can be cast over me.."

Ikaris smiles at Gwen while thinking.

"Let's get a little more information and we shall see what we can do for you. What type of shield are you thinking of, what should it protect you from exactly, or simply a shield against most harm? And perhaps we should check out the necklace section, There are several that would look great on you."
 
:: Gwendolyn looked up on the roof while thinking and then she turned back her attention at Ikaris and then she said ::

"Both physical and magical attacks. If both arent possible then magical attacks... I might want it in a... bracelet really... I guess a tattoo isnt want you do over here.."

:: Gwendolyn smiled and then she waited to hear what Ikaris had to say ::
 
"No dear, I'm sorry that I personally don't tattoo as anything except a hobby, but if you are interested in a bracelet then let me show you what is in stock."

Ikaris escorts Gwen over to the bracelets laying several on the velvet display cloth.

"Here is one that you might like, it protects against one type of elemental attack of your level or lower. You decide which element you are wanting protection from and I can pull it from back stock. Normally the bracelet runs 8000 gil but for you, since you are such a loyal customer, I can part with it for 4200 gil.

There are other types if your aren't interested in one of the elemental ones."
 
"Hmm.. The elemental one is interesting.... But dont you have one that protects me from all sorts of magical attacks, and I dont look at spells here..."

:: The Dark Faerie winked the the Primal Demon and chuckled softly. ::

"Well, this might be the last time I come, because as you can see, I have quite a number of goodies. Well, this time, I was hoping for a platnum anklet, with, of course, rainbow topaz jewels. With the power to turn me invisible. Do you have anything of that sort in stock?"

:: Desire smiled at Ikaris and waited as he filled her order. ::

"Allright, I am thinking that you are looking for something more along the lines of armor rather than simply a bracelet. Something that will provide you with more protection than the aura of protection that the bracelet would give you. Is this sounding more along the line of thought you had? Most of the magickal armour that Illustra carries is formed of a liquid metal that is cast in several different forms, including bracelets. Would you like to see some of them?"

Thinking that he might be on the right track at last, Ikaris quickly puts the other bracelets away and takes out the armor enchanted ones to show Gwen.

"You're back? I was thinking that you worked here, you are here so frequently, hon. ;) Let's see, rainbow topaz gems and platinum. Lets see what we have."

Ikaris checks the catalog cross reference that Farrah left for him to use. Oh, here is a fun little one. The Primal Demon walks quickly to the back and returns with a small box. He takes out a very delicate appearing bracelet. The gemstones gleam under the track lighting overhead.

"Now this might interest you, as you requested, it has both the Rainbow Topaz gems and will render you invisible (posts equal to your level +1 up to two times per battle) but also have another feature that might come in handy."

Taking the anklet in his hands, Ikaris pulls firmly on the ends, causing it to stretch to a length of about a foot. Wrapping the platinum around the arm of the nearby solid chrome manniquins. With a quick pulling gesture, Ikaris neatly slices through the metal like a hot knife through butter.

"The platinum wire is enchanted so that you can use it like a garrote but is not able to harm its wearer. It can slice through almost any non magickal metal except adamantium."
 
:: Desire laughed at Ikaris' comment. She winked at him, still giggling a bit. She waited a moment as Ikaris left to just come back with a box. The Dark Faerie peered in curiously and stared at the beauty of the bracelet. ::

"Ikaris, you are the best, my dear. I will definately take it. Price is no object! And hey, maybe I'll work here one day. Ya never know!"

:: Desire winked and waited for the price. ::
 
"Normally it would run you 4000 gil but with our ongoing customer appreciation sale its yours for 3100. Will you be wearing it out or can I wrap it up for you?"
 
::A black spiral forms with a low rumbling noise within Illustra as Devon appeared, all clad in everything he ever bought in Illustra.::

"Greetings Ikaris... It appears i'm itching for something new again..."

:: Devon walks towards Ikaris, while pondering for a brief moment.::

"Well, apparently, one of the very few parts of my body not covered with Illustra items is my left wrist. I was kinda wondering... Would you happen to sell watches here? Well, watches are considered accessories..."

::pauses for a moment::

"Well, seeing how watches deal with time, i'd like to look for a particular watch that allows me to wrap myself in a time field seperate from outside. Probably just a brief moment since time magic requires a rather high amount of magic, but maybe enough for me to see an impending attack in slow motion, or even speed myself up enough so i might be able to say a spell at my own sweet time while the time field outside moves only for a split second. This way, i won't be interrupted or anything... You get my idea?"

::pauses awhile more::

"Also, for the appearence of the watch, i happen to be fond of black. Something stylish, and if possible, i'd prefer a digital time. If thats not possible, anything will do. Also, it should definitely be comfortable, and definitely much be accurate and shock resistance considering how violent fights can get... Yeah.. Thanks..."

OOC: Oh yeah, and Jay, i kinda forgot to donate the money for the hat to Farrah... Can i know whats the price again? Since the previous thread is gone...

OOC:Stop! Thief! lol. The hat price was 4500 gil.

"As it so happens, the Shoppe just got in a new shipment of timepieces, so why don't we take a look."

Ikaris leads the wizard over to a watch display and begins reading the tags attatched until he finds several that should meet Devon's request.

"As you know Time magic is very potent and doesn't come cheaply. Its only Farrah's friendship with Chronos, the Lord of Time that even allows her to carry the products. This one creates a temporal bubble when activated that would give you precious seconds to prepare a defense against an attack. (one post, twice in a given thread)" (9000 gil)

Ikaris hands the watch to Devon to look at, pointing out the Obsidian stones that highlight the band. He takes another one to show him, reading the tag that describe its abilities.

"This model heightens your own personal time field allowing you to react with apparent superspeed. (up to two posts, once per thread.) I think the silver in the band really sets off the jet blace face, don't you?" (11000 gil)

Finally Ikaris takes out an old fashioned pocket watch. The cover is as black as night with crimson flames on the front.

"I know you have been thinking digital, something modern, but take a look at this one. When activated, it removes you from the time stream for an instant, placing you out of phase with time for two seconds. Attacks pass through you because you are no longer there. A special second feature also allows you to cast up to 3 Time Ghosts of yourself around your enemies. The ghosts can't do any damage but they are very distracting as your enemy can't tell which is real and which an illusion." (two times per thread/time ghosts up to 3 times per thread) (15000 gil)

Escorting Gwen to the armor accessories, Ikaris brings out several to show to her including a red gold serpentine bracelet with fire charms dangling from it.

"How about this? The liquid metal is oraculum, a metal containing no cold iron at all. It works best for those of the Faerie races as I know you have a tendency to be allergic to cold iron. Its activated by touching one of the charms."

Placing the bracelet on Gwen's wrist, Ikaris touches the flame charm causing the metal to expand up from the wrist until it covers her entire body. The armor it creates is red gold with flame designs across the chest and up the left leg.
