Melrose Place, Apartment #1

Delilah eased herself gently down onto the sofa.

“Ah that’s better.”

Perhaps Sharon had been right about exerting herself. But she couldn’t just lay around all day…though right about now, that sounded pretty good.

Earlier she had written out a thank-you note to Nicolas on some pretty stationary and slipped it under his door. Melrose Place was quiet. She knew that Sharon and Cass were visiting, but it seemed like everyone else was out. They would probably be hitting the club later as well. Normally Delilah would have been right there with them, but things had changed.

Though she knew Morgan and Blaze would stop by at some point to check on her this evening, suddenly she felt very alone indeed. She put a hand on her stomach.

This was not the way it was supposed to be.

[ Sharon watched and listened to Cass, as she recounted her own tragic past. The girl was actually far older than she looked. Technicaly older than SHARON herself even. But that was one of the many attributes of a vampire. Immortality. And unlike the wretched zombies of mystech design, vampires generally kept the appearence they had at the moment they were turned.]

I'm sorry for your loss. Some hurts and wounds...no matter who WE become...remain as traumatic and haunting as the day they occurred.

Nazis. Mystech. Evil never TRULY dies. It simply changes with the time. It changes US.

[ Sharon said with thought.]

But it's ironic...many people now consider me evil. Despite my past as a senator and champion for mutant rights. When i was brought back and turned into the Silver Swan, I was insane. I was truly out of my mind. But that doesnt change the carnage that I rained down on innocents and even my friends in the Six. I've taken responsibility for it since then...but for a while, there were those among this team that felt differently about me.

I imagine it is that way for you. You need to understand what you're dealing with in regards to Morgan.

I know about Morgan's history with vampires. What happened to her [mainstream] sister, Blaze when they were with Valiant and Blaze was kidnapped and raped by Axel, the leader of a group of violent, predatory vampires. Valiant wouldn't act quickly enough to help her so she went on her own and she MURDERED all of the vampires in that group when she found her sister battered, bruised and chained to a wall. They had been FEEDING on her as well.

This was something she NEVER told the Six. But when she learned that Ella Price, the young woman she leased this apartment you're in now to, was a vampire, she reacted so VIOLENTLY that it took myself, Nicolas AND Haleigh to restrain her while Delilah used her light to LULL Morgan. Morgan recovered and Ella prooved herself to Morgan and the team. But Ella's gone and you're here. The fact that you ARE here, ALLOWED to live here is a clear indicator that Morgan HAS somewhat softened on her deep seated hatred and mistrust of vampires. But EACH person, regardless of who/what they are...MUST proove themselves on their own merits. That is why the rest of the Six, though understandbly shocked and sympathetic toward Morgan, did not simply just jump on her band wagon against Ella. They watched her, CLOSELY but they gave her a chance.

That's not just for you...that is a lesson THEY...WE have had to learn at some point.

You see, people have thought Morgan was evil too...

When the Six began, She was traumatized, broken. She'd lost her sister to BLACK, she nearly lost her arm and her own LIFE trying and failing to protect Blaze from Black and barely saving herself. Mystech overpowered Valiant and forced them to escape for their lives. Morgan was not the same. and then she was thrust, by necessity, by FATE into forming the Six...with people, who at the time, were anything BUT friends or allies. She was already unstable. Cameron and Haleigh...they caused her to SNAP. She lost herself. And she unleashed the INFERNO upon them all, up the city...

Morgan swent on to try to destroy the city. She was out of her mind. Ultimately she was defeated by Harbinger, Shadow Weaver and the weather witch Ororo. But the damage had been done. It took her a long time, much therapy and even a period of self imposed exile in Limbo before she could face her friends...much less herself.

Indeed, Morgan, myself, Nicolas, Persephone, and Shadow Weaver, who's very name was brought about by the change...the descent into darkness SHE experienced while trying to protect her daughter from Set, have ALL done BAD...EVIL things. We were not in our right minds but that's not an excuse and we ALL had to do penance for the things we did.

YOU'RE in a much better position than you realize. Nothing I've observed about you suggests to me that you've been lying about who you are or your past, and i CAN tell when a person is lying. Despite your status as a vampire, ou deserve to be seen as an individual but you must do your part. You don't have the burden of rectifying a horrific WRONG that you committed against The Six and you didn't come to them as a VILLAIN.

I will help you learn to stand strong and bold but even my help can only go so far, the ultimate push must come from within YOU. I will advocate for you to the Six as long as you do not shame yourself.

Your family is gone...but you have your life and the chance to forge new bonds, new relationships. Will you waste that chance?

I know your journey with Morgan, and to a less severe extend Delilah, has been rather fractious up till now. But no transition is without its growing pains. BELIEVE ME, I know.

The Astral Plane

:: The Astral Plane was a curious, mysterious and sometimes terrifying realm to behold.::

:: Only the strongest psychics, psionics and magick users could CONSCIOUSLY access and navigate the astral plane. High-end magick users had the benefit of a psi-screen, which shielded their minds from telepathic contact/attack/domination but certain high-end psychics, such as Malice and, even worse, Set, had managed to vex even those with psi screens. Thank goodness THAT was a rare thing.::

:: On the astral plane, those powerful enough to consciously access and navigate it had distinct astral forms that were unique to them and told a story about who the person was and how powerful they were on that plane of existence. Nicolas' reflected his immense psionic power which was tainted by his father, SET. After that terrifying caper, this form was not one members of the six cared to see. But he could no more hide who he is than Morgan could hide her connection to Limbo and the dark magick that flows through her soul::

:: Harbinger's astral form NORMALLY was haunting, shimmering colbalt blue form that resembled her physical form. Sparkling orbs flowed around her astral form as well. That was how she NORMALLY appeared when she was vital and fully powered.::

::NOW, appearing before Nicolas, she looked SMALLER than her normal stature (standing at 5'11 w/out high heel) . Her form was colbalt blue, but not nearly as radiant or shimmering. In fact it was FLICKERING and there were no orbs flowing about her.::

:: For Nicolas to see Harbinger like this, it was an unsettling thing. For Alison to LOOK and feel as she was, it was not an easy thing for her. She needed to speak to him privately, uninterrupted by any prying eyes, ears or minds.::

Nicolas said:
What is the matter Alison? Why do you seem...so uncertain?

I'm afraid my...precognition has begun to DIMINISH. ALL of my magicks are starting to lose their potency and effectiveness.

:: She knew Nicolas wouldn't be expecting to hear something like this.::

Spellbinder, Shadow Weaver and Isis are...or WILL, very soon, begin experiencing a decline in their magickal power as well.

Nicolas...Circe is coming back for us.

I had a nightmare vision. She was attacking Minerva's aerie...she destroyed it and everyone inside. Persephone came to the mansion just as I awakened from the nightmare and told me that while she was at HER mansion on the Isle of Aerie, she suddenly LOST ALL CONTACT with her fellow Olympians, Athena, her mother Demeter and even Hecate. She can't sense them, she can't contact them.

The reason why my precognition is diminished, while all magick users will experience decline w/in the next 24 hour period...is because the BLUE MOON is coming. The RED MOON amplified and magnified everything, emotions, impulses and all. The BLUE MOON has the opposite effect and it is the inevitable second act of the overall curse of the Red Moon. It happens after each red moon.

Magick on earth will weaken and wane...and that displaced energy will flow disproportionately into the realm of the UNDERWORLD, where CIRCE'S disembodied spirit resides. So strong is her force of will that she will most likely be able to tap into and harness this magick. Her ONE chance since we defeated her and Hecate decapitated her with your axe and damned her to the underworld, taking that power she had and giving it to Morgan, her true avatar.

She will try to fullfill Hecate's original prophecy the night she and Circe first made a pact: "Upon the death of witch and birth of witch, Hecate, by name and choice, shall repossess her soul!"

She's going to try to possses Morgan's BODY during this attack and reassert herself in this world as she once was.

But in order for her to breach the viel that seperates this world from the underworld...she has to come in one of two ways. Doom's Doorway on Themyscira, which is guarded by the Amazons...or...MINERVA'S AERIE, which is a focal point that remained constant across time and space from the age of the Olympians to the present.

:: Alison pauses...she seems TIRED::

She's coming for us, Nicolas.

I don't know when...I can't tell...but everyone will have to be at the MANSION before the Blue Moon fully dawns tommorow night.

That's the other part of why I'm speaking to you here...privately...

I....as Harbinger...the mistress of the mansion...I MUST defend it from Circe's attacks of dark magick, but I will need help. In my dream...I saw...two women assisting me. I couldn't be sure at first...but now I know that Shadow Weaver and Isis were there, joining their magicks to mine and our last ditch effort to BLOCK Circe's attack.

The truce between the Six and Sisterhood is still in effect. I need you to speak with Isis...I...will need her help.

:: Alison knew that among other things, Nicolas would realize he'd need to persuade Isis to once again HELP the Six. But this time he had one HELL of a reason. If Nicolas should die during Circe's attack, SET would be able to return to this plane of existence by Nicolas' blood opening the doorway. Isis was charged with making sure that never happened. And aside from Spellbinder, Shadow Weaver and Harbinger,Isis was the only other magick user that was their PEER in this timeline. ::

Nic's eyes widened.

Get the fu--... we cut her HEAD off Ali!

Alison continued and Nic grew silent, his grip tightened around his axe.

A Blue MOON?! Seriously?! The Red Moon was cool enough overall(THIS close to a two-sorceress threesome made up for the crap later) but now there had to be an opposite. The Scientist inside him was pointing and laughing it him. Equal and opposite reaction indeed.

Apparently the magic inside the witches went to hell for a bit and Circe can get hold of it to try to come back using Morgan's body. And she had to come through Themiscyra (fat chance) or Aerie (likely spot with Alison at impulse power). They needed to be there by tomorrow night together. Though he did realize that should he fall...they would have a problem likely bigger than even Circe.

Not a problem Ali. Done by tonight.

Of course it would not be THAT easy.

She's coming for us, Nicolas.

The truce between the Six and Sisterhood is still in effect. I need you to speak with Isis...I...will need her help.

On it Ali. You get some rest and I will get them all gathered to you immediately.

Dominique would HAVE to help. Even if she preferred not to. It would be his job to ensure that she DID help. So much for partying at the club, he had one hell of a lift to perform tonight.

Nicolas emerged from the astral plane as Karen and Mike walked up quickly. Mike looked grim and was carrying Madelyn. They both started to speak at once.

Some soothsayer guy walked up on us

The Blue Moon-

Doc's power is dimished

Morgan is in danger-

Nicolas stopped them both as they noticed his visage dark with glowing eyes, and not receding as it normally did when he spoke with them.

I know. I spoke to Alison. We need to gather together now and go to Aerie ASAP. Please check on everyone and get them together. I have to go NOW to gather the rest of us together. I should not be long.

Nicolas disappeared....

...reappearing outside Dominique's dressing room, emerging from a shadow. His axe was now once again a walking cane and he was dressed as before. But a careful study of his face would notice a shadow...just a little and a slight feeling of dread would take hold. He waited for his aunt to finish her set and make her way back. He was in no mood to have a seat with people at this time.

Melrose Place - Apt. 6

:: Cass listened as Sharon told her how sorry she was for her loss. ::

*quietly*: "Thank you."

:: Sharon began talking about how people now consider her she evil, despite her past history. But then, Cass figured, it was no difference than the racism and prejudice that was in the world today amongst REGULAR people. ::

:: Sharon began talking about Morgan and how she came to be what she is now. Sharon then revealed the source of her hatred towards vampires, as well as past history for The Six and Morgan among other things. Sharon then told her that she would help her stand strong and bold as well as advocate her, Cass, to the rest of The Six. Even so, Cass could not let all her bitterness go. Sure, she felt bad for Morgan. After all, SHE cried herself to sleep many, MANY, times after she had found out about her brother. THAT was the turning point in her life and now, in her AFTER LIFE, she had vowed to herself and her dead brother that SHE would rid the world of the NAZIS that walked and preyed on innocent people. People such as her BROTHER that were brutally tortured and EXPERIMENTED on all because of something they had no choice over. She had a strange smile on her face as Morgan was pretty much doing the exact same thing SHE was doing. Her sister had been completely helpless in the hands of those who brutalized her and now Morgan wanted them all to pay. Cass' BROTHER was completely helpless in the hands of those who brutalized HIM and now she, CASS, wanted to make those who hurt other people just because they had no choice over who they are PAY. There was some symmetry in that. ::

"Okay, I will let you help me. Of course, I can't promise that I won't stand up for myself when people come after me, both physically and verbally. but I will try."

:: Cass stared at the coffee table in front of them. ::

"I have my own story, my own...shit that I carry with me. While I WILL let you help me and stuff, I can't be all buddy-buddy with them. I WON'T."

:: She looked at Sharon in the face. Some say that the eyes were the windows to the soul, and while that could be true, Cass had no soul. But still. It was all there, in her eyes. Something had happened to the 'young' woman that made herself off-limits to people. Something BIG. But even though Cass felt herself trust Sharon enough to tell her about her beloved brother - and thus revealing her 'age' by accident :p - she could not, WOULD NOT, let herself be completely open. She had tried that once, or twice, and it had tragic results. ::

NYC - the Parthenon

:: From the beginning of her association with the Hellfire Club, Dominique made it clear to the Inner Circle that she had her own life and motivations apart from the club that were her domain alone. That boundary had been respected thus far.::

:: She'd come quite far in her own journey, from seeking violent revenge on her nephew, Nicolas King, for the death of his birth mother, her sister, to realizing her true calling as Isis.::

:: She remained with the Hellfire Club for her own reasons and was personally quite satisfied that with the conclusion of the Sheena Island caper, Malice a.k.a The White Queen of the Hellfire Club, had finally let go of any interest and claim to MYSTECH. Dominique may have been "evil" in the eyes of some, but during her brief experience with Mystech (since most of the events involving Mystech and the Six pre-dated her) she was offended to her CORE by what that company stood for and its methods. Like SET...no regard for LIFE, no respect for nature. If ever there were a time where She, as the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club, would have broken ranks with the Inner Circle, it would have been over Mystech. But fortunately for all parties involved, that did not seem to be an issue they'd have to face anytime soon.::

:: The OTHER boundary that was off limits was Nicolas himself. Regretably, the revelation of Set and his being Nicolas' true father for ever altered the lives of the six AND sisterhood. A truce was formed so that they could save themselves and the world from Set. And from now, till the end of time, As Nicolas' only living blood relative and the modern day incarnation of Isis, the egyptian goddess of magick, SHE must ensure that Nicolas is never killed for the moment he dies, Set will use his blood as a bridge back to this world. It is her task...and in a way...her penance for her initial actions when seeking revenge on Nicolas and going against the true calling of the original Isis.::

:: Dominique has found calm, common ground with her nephew. Dealings in the business world and encounters here and there during travels, and the fact that she divides her time between the Hellfire Mansion and the Parthenon, a property under the Six family, have allowed Nicolas easier access to his aunt. ::

:: Still, there is a coldness and a limit to how far she will go with him. It is not nearly as pronounced as it was in the beginning, but Nicolas knows deep down in her soul that she will NEVER quite be able to TRULY forgive him for her sister dying to bring him into this world. Even SHE has wondered if she could let go of it...and thus far, the honest answer has been no.::

:: But in spite of that, they have progressed as individuals and as family.::

:: At this moment, Dominique finishes prepping for her short set this evening at the Parthenon night club. She was a huge draw and highly popular, proof that there were people in this town who still valued live singers , smaller venues, style and class.::

:: She had no idea that she'd have not one but TWO special visitors this evening. One being Cameron King, whom she had not seen since the Viper caper, the other being her nephew, who opted to watch from backstage and wait for her at her large, posh dressing room after the set.::

:: She looked ravishing with her big bright eyes and sleek straight hair parted down the middle, a regal, figure flattering black dress with coordinating high heels and just enough touch of expensive bling to add to her air of elegance.::

:: All was in place, the audience was seated and she was soon announced.::

:: Taking the stage, she greets her fanfare with a mix of courtesy and a splash of elegant disdain in her face before moving into her set. This evening she opts for two ballads and then treats the audience to two mid tempo grooves, including her enduring and popular dance track Happiness. This song draws cheerful reactions from the crowd as 3 female back up dancers in black mini dresses join her on stage and she removes her skirt to reveal a shorter, sexier hemline version beneath it. Joining her dancers in a choreographed routine & closing the show with this number, Dominique does 2 curtain calls before taking her final exit to her dressing room, thanking the band, the sound mixer and the dancers.::

:: Now inside her dressing room, still in the higher hemlined version of her dress, she exhales and sits down in front of the large 3 way mirror...::

Hearing her sing was amazing. SHE was amazing.

Absolute command of her voice. Nicolas could sing, but he had no idea if it was part of his powers or part of a family gift. But she could interpret a song, bring it to an audience in a way that showed the mastery of her craft.

And BEAUTIFUL. Breathtakingly so. He could feel the familial bond as she walked backstage, he watched her with none of the more vulgar thoughts that might normally be evoked by a woman of her looks. She was really HIS aunt and he felt that way about her, even if she might never fully embrace him. He watched her open her door to her dressing room and go inside and he wondered how his own mother might have looked had he not been born and...he did not blame her for how she felt.

But no time to mope. Indeed, he was mostly at peace in spite of the enduring sadness of it all. He stepped forward and knocked on Isis' door, then entered.

Hey Aunt Dominique. We need to talk. I need your help.

She could tell by the look on his face that things had to be pretty bad.

A soft breeze began to funnel around the living room of Morgan's apartment, a signature entrance Persephone was known for. Appearing, Ava [without sunglasses] heard the soft mew of Tinkerbell and smiled, walking over to the familiar who had just finished dinner and was sitting by her food bowl. Crouching down, Ava gently stroked her head.

Morgan: Oh for goddess' sake! Ava you scared me half to death! I....AVA!?

With a gentle smile, Ava stood upright.

"I didn't mean to startle you, Morgan. It's good to see you."

Morgan: Where the hell have you been!?

Walking over to couch, Tinkerbell perched herself on the arm of it, waiting for some more attention from Ava.

"My estate on Arie. I needed some time away. But that is not why i'm here."

Sitting down, Ava began to pet Tinkerbell again. She knew Morgan would normally want to dive right into why Ava had stayed away for so long without contact, but there were more pressing issues to deal with. That talk would be for another day.

"Morgan, we have a problem."

Tinkerbell's ears perked up, feeling the tension in Ava's voice.

"Alison sent me here to warn you. She had a vision of Circe's return......and the death of Delilah..."

Parthenon Hotel - New York City - Top Floor Penthouse Suite B

Deciding to change into something a little more suitable for the lounge, Cameron took a moment to look at himself in the large full view mirrors that lined the walls in his Penthouse Suite.

"Goddammit, Cameron King. You are one SEXY son of a bitch!"

He laughed to himself, What could he do? He was feeling on top of the world at the moment. He moved into the walk in closet as he pressed a series of numbers into a medium size safe. As the safe beeped and gave him the greenlight, Cameron slowly pulled open the door which revealed at least a dozen very expensive watches of various shapes sizes and value. Where as many of the women he knew collected shoes, he collected watches, viewing them to be the ultimate sign of status for a man, and really one of the only acceptable forms of jewelry for a man to wear, never truly interested in chains or earrings. He perused his watches and selected a Vintage Rolex Submariner, which had been sold exclusively by Cartier. There were very few in the world and although the watch was not as "blinged" out as some of the others in his collection, there was something to be said of the excellent craftsmanship and beauty of watches from the past. Clasping the wrist on his watch, he moved back into his vanity and picked up a bottle of Eros by Versace, a scent that was fresh, bright and woody, and unusually seductive. Cameron had fell in love with the scent recently and it had become customary whenever he was out mingling with the rich and beautiful.

Taking a few moments to look himself over and mess with his hair, he began to hum to himself some familiar song lyrics.

"To lose the ball and chain, gotta reach for it...To realize my dreams, gotta reach for it.."

Once his hair was set, his scent was perfect and his look was perfected, he winked at himself in the mirror.

"That Chanteuse won't know what hit her."

Telekinetically flicking the lights to the penthouse off, (an obviously superficial use of his powers that was reserved for when Cameron felt playful and jovial) he exited the suite, passed the Security Guard and made his way into the elevator pressing L for lobby. The elevator zoomed down with great speed and soon dinged as the doors slid open. Cameron King was officially on the scene, and as soon as he took his first steps, he could feel the flash of the paparazzi lenses as he went.

Man: Cameron! What are you up to tonight! You look great!

Man #2: Mr. King, over here! Give us a smile!

Cameron stopped and posed for a few snaps for a moment because in all honesty, it just felt good. The Six had went from being outcasts of society to slowly being able to move back into the "real world" and it had made him realize how much he truly loved being a part of "the scene."

"Thanks Guys! Good to see you! I've got some exciting news for you guys in the coming weeks, but if you'll excuse me, i'm off to the incredibly enchanting Dominique Devereaux perform. Have a good night!"

Waving to the cameras he entered the lounge which was a mixture of old and new style. Extremely posh and extremely exclusive, just the way he liked hit. He walked up to the VIP Services booth as a young and very attractive, wispy boy looked almost as if he wanted to squee with excitement.

"Good to see you, Liam. Looking good as always..."

Liam blushed.

Liam: Thank You Mr. King! You're all set. Zone 1 just like you wanted, the bottle service has stocked your table per your request. Enjoy the show!

"I'm always in good hands with you, Liam. Thank you."

Cameron winked as left Liam feeling very "huffy" as he passed through the main door, up the stairs and into his VIP Booth. Soon the lights dimmed as Dominique took to the stage, this time delighting the crowd with some ballads.

"Looking good enough to eat..."

He took pause for a moment as he remembered how much the two of them had despised each other during the Viper caper. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with her based on what she had tried to pull with both Nicolas and Morgan. But life and experience often bring to new awareness, and his view of Dominique had shifted. He knew just as well as she did that sometimes we have to make decisions that other's won't understand or agree with, and he realized that even Dominique had realized the error of her ways and was definitely paying her penance now. As he listened to her perform, he suddenly became aware of Nicolas. Had his sign off message earlier caused a little bit of jealousy in the young model? Cameron couldn't help but like THAT idea. Or perhaps he just wanted to listen to his aunt sing. The relationship between those two was confusing at best, so instead of thinking about that he gave his full attention to Dominique.

As the show closed, Cameron stood and clapped. He had the staff make sure to keep his table well stocked as he made his way, breezing past security, as one of them handed him a bouquet of ornate white lotus flowers, just as he had planned. Rounding the corner and down the hallway, he was a little surprised and agitated at the sight of Nicolas King, though he didn't show it...

"Oh...Hey Nicolas. Fancy meeting you here..."

He smiled, willing to let the cards play as they were supposed to.

You're wise to accept my offer. I would never expect you NOT to stand up for yourself. However, you need to learn who is your enemy and who isn't. Just because you don't mesh well with your companions here in this building, does not make them your enemy and if you cross the line between "keeping to yourself" and becoming hostile and antagonistic, then you WILL go the way that I did...and waste priecious time.

[ Sharon continues to look upon the girl, unwavering, with her silver eyes. She saw MUCH of some of her own struggles from the past in this girl now]

Interesting, you are certainly more...emotionally charged than any vampire i've stuided or come across before. Perhaps there is more to your nature than even you suspect.

But you obviously weren't listening to me earlier. We ALL carry wounds and scars. It is foolish and short sighted to try to claim the hallmark on suffering when it is suffering that brought the six and their allies TOGETHER in the first place. As i said, EVIL never dies. It merely adapts. The nazis were one example. Mystech another. Do you truly believe that you can avenge yourself on those who are long dead while missing the threats and dragons of TODAY? Moreover, do you think you can do everything ALONE?

[ Standing up]

You have much to learn, child.

But you've prooven this evening that you have the capacity for change by accepting my offer. We'll proceed from there.

I'm glad to know that you're settling in and getting adjusted. I've given you the methods to contact me if you need me.

It's time for me to leave now, but I'll see you soon. Be well.

[ and with that, Sharon departs Cass' apartment, closing the door behind her and looking out to the night sky and then down to the courtyard below. Karen and Michael were present. Enough people were present now that Delilah should be fine if she needed anything. She was about to lift off and fly into the open night sky but then Michael spotted her and called out to her.]

Walking over to couch, Tinkerbell perched herself on the arm of it, waiting for some more attention from Ava.

Sitting down, Ava began to pet Tinkerbell again. She knew Morgan would normally want to dive right into why Ava had stayed away for so long without contact, but there were more pressing issues to deal with. That talk would be for another day.

"Morgan, we have a problem."

DELILAH'S DEATH!?

I'm sorry...I feel...off balance. Maybe it's the shock of what you just said!

This is monstrous! Circe!? and Delilah!?

Where is Alison? What is the catalyst for what she saw?

Parthenon- Dominique's dressing room

:: Isis began to sip some tea that had been brought to her when a knock at the door was heard and then it opened, in walking..::

Nicolas!

:: She says with a clear, steely tone::

What a surprise to see you here this evening.

:: She motions for him to close the door and come in::

Did you have business in New York?

:: before he could answer, ANOTHER knock at the door. Dominique's aqua blue eyes WIDEN with disbelief as she noticeably SLAMS her teacup down on the saucer::

My goodness, it would appear that my dressing room is the prime destination this evening, for ALL SORTS of unexpected "GUESTS."

:: her tone now sharper as she shifts in her chaise lounge, remaining posed and regal looking as ever.::

Cameron King, I was sure that even YOU would know that a woman's dressing room is PRIVATE?

:: She looked at Nicolas for a moment, before fixing her piercing aqua blue eyes back on the psychic that had just boldly invited himself into her dressing room. She allowed him this moment to explain himself. SHe also noted that he looked more...put together, MATURE than the last time she saw him::

Well I suppose any tailor worth his salt can make ANYONE look good in a suit

:: she thought to herself::

Before Nicolas could respond to him, Domnique opened the door and promptly invited him into her dressing room, while Cameron took a step back so as not to be seen. Nicolas looked concerned, and part of him wanted to leave and return later. And then he realized, that Cameron King doesn't do that, and he had to admit there was something a bit thrilling about the idea of flirting with Dominique in front of her nephew. And Cameron was all about entertaining the thrill as of late. Within reason of course, he wasn't going to proposition the woman in front of Nicolas, but he was sure as hell going to turn the heat up.

He knocked at the door and as it open promptly swung open to reveal Dominique and Nicolas. She definitely looked a little irritated, and that definitely turned Cameron on a little bit, considering that his most "prized" encounters with women were the ones that found him incredibly irritating to begin with. And based on their past, he had reason to believe that if Dominique and Cameron were to "go there", it would be a fiery and passionate affair, despite the cold as ice nature that Dominique usually expressed.

Cameron lifted the ornate bouquet of Lotus Flowers and presented them as he made his way over to her, getting closer than he ever had before. Enough to spark her interest, but not close enough to make her uncomfortable.

"A Lotus for the Lady of the Lotus," he said, making reference to the Goddess Isis' connection to the lotus flower.

He handed them to her.

"I didn't know I would be interrupting something, however.. I've been back in New York for quite some time, staying in this very hotel, and I realized that i've never seen Dominique Devereaux perform. So, tonight.. I did. And let me say Dominique...you have a definite way about you.. So soft at times and at others, so sensual. I could feel the desire the men had in the audience had for you, and I can see why you've become so popular here..."

Turning around for a moment, taking a look at Nicolas.

"Rest assured once I take back full control of this place, you will remain a staple."

Smiling and nodding his head.

"Nicolas. Good to see you in person. When I said you have to come to town, I didn't mean tonight. However, it's good to see you man."

And just like that, the boy was gone. Mike looked at Karen and then nodded to Delilah's apartment. He started there when he spotted a figure take flight. No way to mistake those curves for anyone else so he spoke up, still low, using the inflection in his voice to signal urgency.

Sharon.

She landed near the pair and waited for him to speak. He wasted no time.

There is some nutso new threat that is a danger to Morgan and the other witches and saps magic powers. Nicolas in out to gather more people and we are all supposed to stay together until we can go to Aerie. I wish I had more, but I figured we should gather here until we can sort more out.

Sharon was not big on extras that did not add information and neither was Mike. He stopped there, hoping that was enough.

Nicolas was still very grim. He allowed Cameron to do...whatever it was he was doing and then spoke.

It is very good to see you, however I wish the circumstances were better. Please stay around, but I need to talk to my aunt ALONE. I apologize if this seems rude but it could not be more urgent. Thank you.

Cameron exited in his own way, but at this point Nicolas was not looking at him at all. He was focused on his aunt who he suddenly hated to ask to put in harm's way.

Isis. I need your help.

Nicolas stepped forward a step as Dominique stood. The use of her avatar name got her attention quickly. He sighed heavily and then came out with it.

Circe is set to return from the underworld. The Blue Moon is about to rise and with it, the powers of all magic users will wane according to Alison. She has had a vision about this and the only hope to repel Circe lies with all of the Six and you coming together on Aerie. Otherwise, they, and I, will fall and Set AND Circe will be unleashed on this world. We would need to leave as soon as possible.

Melrose Place - Apt. 6

:: Cass stretched out on the couch after Sharon had left. The woman had given her lots to think about. She stared at the ceiling. Sharon's words kept replaying in her head. ::

"Do you truly believe that you can avenge yourself on those who are long dead while missing the threats and dragons of TODAY? Moreover, do you think you can do everything ALONE?"

:: The worst part was that she felt she HAD to go about it alone. Past situations arose where she had needed help, and people had said they would ALWAYS be there for her, but in the end...they all fell short of their promises. Before she could open herself up, she HAD to know that people would be there for her. Oh, sure, in past situations with regards to The Six, she unwillingly had their backs, and to some extent they had hers, but they weren't genuine about it...and neither was she. She just wanted to WIN, and so did they. ::

:: A couple of tears slid down her cheeks as she continued to contemplate Sharon's words. ::

I don't know if I can do this!! I don't want to get hurt again...

Morgan began to feel faint and sat down next to Ava. Turning towards her, she felt terrible that she had to just break the news to her so abruptly, but it had to be done.

Morgan: This is monstrous! Circe!? and Delilah!? Where is Alison? What is the catalyst for what she saw?

"Alison is on her way to find Alycia an instruct her to bring Bishop back here."

Ava held up her hand knowing Morgan was about to protest.

"She saw Delilah dying while giving birth. She will have already been dead by the time Circe attacks. The only factor that could possibly change the outcome is Bishop....he need to be apart of this despite our reservations."

Sighing, it was such a complicated situation. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Ava continued.

"There's more."

Looking back up at Morgan.

"The reason why Circe is able to come back is because of the Blue Moon. The effects of THIS moon is completely opposite of the Red Moon--it dampers the abilities of magick users. What you're feeling now? [the light headedness and nausea] Is not from being overwhelmed. The moon is already affecting you."

Ava continued.

"When this moon becomes full, it lowers the bridge between this world and the world Circe was damned to. She will have the ability to return....while you WILL NOT have the ability to fight her."

Ava somewhat cringed at her last statement, knowing that would sting Morgan the most. As the direct descendant of Hecate, Morgan was going to feel the effects of the Blue Moon more powerfully than the others. And as a prideful woman who HATED feeling vulnerable, Ava knew this would not settle well with the witch.

"I know this is a lot to absorb, but you need to warn the others as to what's going to happen. I [standing]....need to leave. My abilities to sense my mother and Hecate are completely gone because of the Blue Moon as well. I don't know if they're dead or alive. I need to search for them before I come back and help you."

<< Morgan, who was feeling rather disjointed and agitated [though not at Ava], kept silent and listened, intently.>>

<< For a moment she wondered if she was really asleep, and having a bad dream.>>

Well...she won't get me without a fight!

<< Circe was bad ENOUGH. BUT this was the obvious villain. Morgan could at least go into "another mode" on her. Even IF her powers were going to go on the wane, she was SORCERESS SUPREME, there had to be a way...she still had the darkhold and her stepping discs were her MUTANT power, so that wouldn't be effected...>>

I'll...I don't know what I'll do just YET...but SHE WON'T get me without a fight!

<< But even as she could let herself get lost in consuming thought over how to even begin to address the looming threat of Circe's attempt at revenge from beyond the viel of the Underworld, the thing that kept messing her up and making her suffering from growing anxiety was the fact that DELILAH, her dearest, oldest friend, was seen DYING in child birth in Harbinger's vision! >>

<< Ava was right, Morgan did NOT like the idea of involving Bishop.>>

We promised Delilah. All of us. We promised not to tell him.

The deep blue sea was hypnotic. Alison's voice reached her ears but it didn't really register. She just kept staring at the ocean.

She had betrayed her teammates and left them for Bishop's ideals. And the rift she had set in motion between her and Sharon had become a chasm that drove the Silver Swan out of the Six altogether. She had wanted to punish "Alycia" for her supposed betrayal. But who was she to point fingers? How they could look at Delilah after all that had happened, she didn't know.

And Bishop...she had murdered him out of spite, revenge. And there was the secret that she kept from everyone, that she had truly loved him, loved him still...and she had blown him apart. What kind of person could do that? No "bigger picture", no "higher purpose" - she wasn't sacrificing someone in order to save the world. And the guilt was destroying her.

Her limbs were oh so heavy where she sat, water droplets still drying on her skin, the sand sticking to her bare feet. And then suddenly, they felt light as air. A peacefulness came over her as she knew what she had to do.

She stood and walked, trancelike, towards the sea, towards that peace she so longed for. The coolness of the waves lapped at her feet. The sun was warm on her face. And as the ocean washed over her, pulled her under, she felt a sense of perfect calm. And then everything was finally darkness.

The stats kept coming. Haleigh tossed a glance out the window in this room. There was a spectacular view from every vantage point. She could see the beach where Delilah was again. It looked like Delilah had decided to go for another swim. But this wasn't a quick dip, and Haleigh found that she kept watching for Delilah to resurface. The others might think it rude for her to have turned her back on them, but her brow was creasing with concern. The surf was moderate, there was no visible riptide. Haleigh begin sweeping her gaze wider, in case Delilah had managed to swim farther than she initially expected, but Haleigh's eyes kept going back to the same dark shape among the tide that she was QUITE certain was Delilah. It was not moving the way a swimmer would.

Sharon was not big on extras that did not add information and neither was Mike. He stopped there, hoping that was enough.

[ Sharon places her finger to her mouth and shushes Michael]

Quiet! I don't want Delilah hearing any of this!

[ She points to the door of apartment 3, Michael's apartment and silently gestures for them all to go inside. Once inside with the door closed...]

The last thing Delilah needs is to even hear about any sort of danger or threat. Her pregnancy has become quite difficult for somereason, even though all of HER internal rhythms sound fine...a bit elevated but still fine, for a mutant. But the BABY'S internal rhythms are quite HIGH. I strongly suspect he...or she...is a mutant but my sonar can't determine that. Still it's the only thing I can think of to explain why the baby seems so...VOLATILE.

[ Regarding what Michael said....]

Michael, the star charts on themyscira indicate that the next cycle of the moon is tommorow night. It will be a full, large, low hanging moon.

Circe...she is known far and wide on Themyscira. Her name preceeds her in INFAMY. Even before the events of the Red Moon that the Six encountered, her name is in their scrolls and history books. The birds this evening, they are nervous...I sense their apprehension all around. They've seen creatures that look like them...who are NOT them...

[ the first indicator that BESTIAMORPHS, the monsters that Circe specialized in creating with her terrifying power, may be already appearing on this plane of existence]

Whatever is going to be done to prepare to meet this threat, I agree that we should wait until we know everyone is on one accord.

[Something about what he said...she felt like there was more to it as well, but he had nothing more he could offer and curiously, none of them had seen Harbinger. That did not sit well with Sharon either.]

But in the meantime, I will remain here in case something happens.

The Six and the Sisterhood.

IF, the Parthenon is changing hands, I would THINK that either Alison or Morgan, either of whom seem to be in control of this establishment at even given moment, OR even my own nephew would have the COURTESY to inform me of such a change.

I do NOT perform magic shows for school children. I am a SONGSTRESS and I am NOT anyone's EMPLOYEE. I am THE BLACK QUEEN!

If you have the audacity to "expect" me to continue to perform in this place under YOUR control, then "rest assured" WE WILL be having a meeting to discuss the terms of my contract and renegotiate. OTHER WISE, I will exercise my "EARLY OUT" clause & pull out of my standing engagement with the Parthenon THE MOMENT it passes from Morgan/Alison back to you!

:: lifting one hand from her hip and pointing at Cameron::

And further more, I RESENT you coming to me, like some silvertonuged devil, complete with flowers, thinking that I am your built in show girl!

:: She stops for a moment, clenching her jaw with visible anger and agression. She looks past Cameron to Nicolas, who had been here first, and looked as though he NEEDED to speak with her.::

If you will excuse me, Cameron. My NEPHEW was here first and I will speak with him PRIVATELY. But OUR conversation is FAR from over, is that clear?

::Nicolas had NEVER heard Dominique refer to him as HER NEPHEW in all the time he'd known her and she didn't seem to backtrack or regret saying it at that moment either.::

::Nicolas addresses Cameron, as Cameron exits withthe understanding that Dominique is not finished with him yet. But one could wonder if this is somehow all part of his overall goal, MORE face time with her, MORE one-on-one time and in a capacity outside of their identities as Isis and Prophet?::

:: Now for Nicolas, who actually ADDRESSED her as Isis instead of "Auntie".::

:: she stared at him for a moment before turning away and walking back to her chaise lounge and sitting. She calms herself before drinking more of her tea::

Circe is connected to the OLYMPIANS, Nicolas. Perhaps you should be contacting THEM through Morgan or Alison or better yet, PERSEPHONE?

Were you planning on providing me with SOME kind of notice about the changing of hands for the Parthenon -it being under HIS control? Or was I going to have to read about it in the Wall Street Journal like some commoner?

:: she questioned with contempt and demanded an answer::

::Nicolas looked grim and pressed on, talking about the BLUE MOON. The time when all magick on earth is at its weakest...::

The full moon is tommorow...

:: Dominique says with a pensive tone::

All magick...regardless of its source and origins...will be effected

:: Taking in what Nicolas said::

Nicolas...typically when the truce between the Six and Sisterhood needs to be exercised, HARBINGER contacts myself or Malice. Why have I not heard from her?

:: Dominique had her reasons for questioning Nicolas. What he didn't know, was that she'd already begun to feel the first symptoms of her effects from the blue moon...headaches. BAD ONES.::

::Nicolas finally got to the point of what he feared on a personal level. If HE was destroyed by Circe, then SET would return as well.::

:: Dominique breathes deeply and exhales slowly, leaning forward a bit and bowing her head, placing her hand on her forehead. Another headache was coming on just now::

I am duty bound to safe guard you from anything that could loose your EVIL, DESTRUCTIVE father upon this world again. My sister died as she bore you into this world. She BELIEVED that your life deserved a chance to come to pass, that some how you would be REDEEMED even though you were conceived in a most grave act of violence and bruality by a MONSTER.

:: She says this with such BITTERNESS as she grits her teeth and shuts her eyes. But somehow, Nicolas can sense that her hatred is not toward him...its toward SET.::

she believed that ISIS would one day restore you! And I, through my covenant with Isis, am now her avatar. I MUST do what is revealed to me to be necessary to not only safe guard you, but protect ALL life from Set.

If there is even a REMOTE possibility that Circe could be indirectly responsible for Set returning, then I have no choice BUT to assist. But I am not going with you just now. There are things here I must attend to first and I will summon you when I am ready.

:: she holds out her hand, beckoning Nicolas forward. As he comes, she takes his hand into her's::

Your mother, my sister...even after what Set did to her...she found a strength of courage, a serenity to accept carrying you inside of her and giving birth even at the cost of her life because she believed in you...that kind of courage...that strength of spirit...even now, with the power that i possess...:: her heart seemed to SKIP a bit as she struggled to control the GRIEF rising up inside of her::

...i feel that SHE had a greater power than I ever did. I will do what i can to not only help you and Harbinger, but to HONOR my sister, your mother's memory.

Now go and do NOTHING until you hear from me, is that clear?
