So I was inspired to do this thread after seeing this AMAZING Disney song mash up by this insanely talented singer who did every single song in the mash up. He's incredible and I highly recommend you watch it.

My favorite Disney movie growing up was Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King. My mom said that when I was 1 or 2 she would have to play Lady and the Tramp for my on repeat throughout the whole day I was that obsessed with it LOL. But ironically enough I haven't seen it in so long that I don't really remember the movie. :p

Now adays my favorite is by far Finding Nemo. I know it's technically considered Pixar, but I haven't watched an animated movie since I was a kid that resonated so much with me than Finding Nemo did. It was brilliantly made, absolutely hilarious, and very heart warming. And to this day I haven't seen a recent Pixar movie that has had the same effect on me as Finding Nemo.

Cinderella and Beauty & the Beast are my favorites. Also love Robin Hood, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Mickey's Christmas Carol, Johnny Tremain, Pollyanna, The Parent Trap, The Moon Spinners, Blackbeard's Ghost, Freaky Friday, Candleshoe, Up and Pirates of the Caribbean.

:)

:)

Hercules and Aladdin off the top of my head, 101 Dalmatians and The Sword in the Stone too

Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmations, Beauty and The Beast, Cinderella, Swiss Family Robinson, Polyanna, The Parent Trap (Both versions), In Search Of The Castways, Pirates Of The Carribean franchise.

Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins & Fantasia are my top Disney films. If i had to ONLY pic one of those four...I'd say Alice in Wonderland is the top.

For non animated Disney films, I say Mary Poppins, The Parent Trap [both versions], the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie [though all are fantastic, that one is just my absolute favorite!], Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Freaky Friday.

And funny enough, Alice in Wonderland was probably my least favorite Disney movie when I was a kid, right up there with Dumbo and Pinocchio. But as I grew up I liked Alice in Wonderland a lot better...but still hate the other two lol.

Both Freaky Friday films were cool. The 2nd one was one of the rare times i felt like the "update" did the original some justice. Bedknobs and Broomsticks...ah I do remember that film. Angela Lansbury was in it. It's been so long since I've actually watched it though.

But isnt it interesting how Disney has such a diverse collection of films to choose from...both animated and live action (although its hard to believe that "pirates of the caribean" is a "disney" film).

I do think there came a point when that disne quality that made their films stand out was lost. for me that would be any animated film that came after beauty & they beast and the lion king. the pixar stuff was drab and boring to me.

I love Disney and my favorite films change all the time. I love the Princess films, so Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Tangled. I also love Peter Pan, I used to watch The Rescuers over and over and also Lady and The Tramp. I also love most of the Pixar films, Cars, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. My live action ones are probably Pirates of the Caribbean and High School Musical.
