::the fog billows a bit as "Alycia" now is in the open area of that forest..where the trees form a natural circumference and give an open view of the night time sky. the clouds drift past the moon...covering it slightly as the cold breeze whistles a bit::


::just as Alycia reaches the area....the Super Soldier is INSTANTLY upon her. tripping her and knocking her to the ground. he stands over her, blocking out most of the view above with his massive stature...breathing heavily as his massive chest rises and falls with each breath... he reeks of violence and evil. as he raises his MASSIVE arm high up and reveals a machete....the blade gleams with eagerness as the shape is about to bring it down and SLICE OFF "Alycia's" Head. the blade seems to make the air SCREAM as it comes crashing down toward "Alycia's" neck!::
 
:: Falling to the ground, Alexis' back was pressed against the cold dirt surface. Gasping, she saw how truly huge this shape figure was. But it wasn't his size that scared her, it was the weapon he withdrew. Her eyes widdened with fear as he lifted it high into the air, ready to strike. Screaming, Alexis was HOPING they would pull her out in time, so she didn't act....THe sound of the blade cutting through the air was all she could hear. ::
 
[ Morningstar stepped forward. Extending her arm, she held out her hand, palm out. She showed no fear: she dealt with the scum of the earth every day.

Suddenly, blinding flashes began pulsating, emanating from her hand and directing themselves between Alexis and the monster. Then, just as unexpectedly, a brilliant fireworks display of multicolored light illuminated the skies over its head. But this was not your average fourth of july light show - they came much more rapidly, and would be much more disorienting, especially coupled with the continuing flashes.

MorningStar then lifted her other hand and concentrated. Random sounds of explosions and pops were coming on all sides of the creature. She gritted her teeth, careful to keep control of her sound and light exhibition. ]

MorningStar's done it....she's STUNNED the monster!


<< running forward...she thrust her hand out....and with a crash of thunder, a stepping disc opens beneath "Alycia'...and in the blink of an eye..she's WHISKED away from the reach of the super soldier. the disc opens behind a large log, allowing Alexis time to return to her own form>>


<< Spellbinder lifts up into the air..and circles around the creature..gaining an aerial advantage>>

Hecate....this creature is MASSIVE...the POWER it must posses!

<< taking aim....a halo of energy forms around her out stretched palms...as and with a chiming sound... Spellbinder unleashes a MASSIVE eldritch bolt...slamming into the creature's back....the dark magick tears at his clothing and skin as it batters him from behind...>>
 
:: the shape STOPPED in his tracks...entranced/bewildered the sudden fury of sparkling flashes and light....he twitched his head as he looked every which way around him...the strobbing, flashing, thundering lights began to disoriented him...he grunted with annoyance...as his began to stagger backward::


::he was KNOCKED forward by Spellbinder's blasts...his head snapping back from the forcefull impact of the eldritch bolts..his body shook violently...but still he did not fall::
 
:: Alexis suddenly dropped from sight and reappeared away from the beast. Exhaling with relief, she didn't have time to sit there and do nothing. Waving her hand, she instantly turned back into herself and ran forward toward Delilah. Thrusting her hand out at the shape, a massive bolt of lightning struck the ground next to him with a loud CRASH, sending a massive shockwave of earth straight into him. ::
 
[ MorningStar bore down; she had an idea, and hoped she had the power to pull it off. Pushing both hands outward, she harnessed her light powers and suddenly, giant gruesome monsters surrounded the beast. Ten stories tall, snarling and snapping. She hoped that there was some fear still left in the shape. ]
 
:: Taking Delilah's que, Alexis lifted her other hand into the air sending bolts of lightning crashing around the beast until finally, it formed an electrical cage, large enough to hold the light monsters Delilah made and the shape. ::

"Adrian get out of there!!"

:: Alexis screamed, trying to yell over the loud thunderous roar of the attacks. The lightning was far enough apart for Adrian to slip through without getting hurt, but for the shape, it would have no way out. ::
 
::The Shape struggles...as he is how HAMMERED from the front by Shockwave. he seems to be a helpless target, as the women attack him again and again....and as his body writhes, taking punishment that wouldve snapped a mere man in TWO already, MorningStar's massive holograms appear...savage monsters as tall if not TALLER than he ..snarling, snapping and lunging at him....the shape's traning and survivalist protocalls go into effect...as he seems to manifest a savage rage...::

:: he BUSTS LOOSE, BREAKING OUT of the attacks by Spellbinder and Shockwave and sends them BACK at both of them...knocking Spellbinder out of the air with the impact of her own eldritch bolts...and bowling Alexis off her feet with the riptide ground effect of her lightning bolt. as he lunges into the air and SLICES off one of theads of the holograms...he doesnt realize its NOT a real creature...as the head simply flickers and waves a bit::

:: he lands with a thunderous THUD...down on the ground...RIGHT IN FRONT OF MorningStar....breathing heavily..and looking down at her. he manifests TWO blades...about to slice her up from either side::
 
<< Spellbinder remained aloft...SHOCKED as he withstood such PUNISHMENT beind dished out by herself, MorningStar and Shockwave....the creature lurched and staggered..but she feared he would SNAP into "combat" mode at anymoment...and THATS just what happened>>

NO! it CANNOT BE!!

<< she gasped as he bust loose from the onslaught and sent her own blasts BACK at her....it all happened so fast...she didnt have time to teleport..or manifest a shield..... she was SLAMMED ...like being hit by a MACK TRUCK....and thrown back through the air against a tree....hitting it with a thud before falling down to the ground....battered unconscious..laying face down >>
 
:: Flying back, Alexis hit the ground hard with a thud. ::

"OOOF"

:: Coughing, the wind was knocked out of her. Rolling to her side, she gasped for air, looking to Morgan to see if she was okay. She was in the same codition as Alexis was in. Groaning, she pushed herself up to her knees, looking back at the shape seeing it appear in front of Delilah. ::

"Oh shit..."

:: Lunging forward, Alexis tackled Delilah to the side, rolling away from the shape. Lifting her head, she looked over to him and then to Morgan. ::

"We can't take him! We need to get Sharon and Alycia and leave!"
 
As the creature came into sight, Adrian turned his head to regard it. A spectacular scene unfolded in front of him; the darkened forest was illuminated with the light of electricity, eldritch and other types of energy. But Adrian had an advantage that they did not: his powers were much more than skin deep. He advanced forward, his chillingly calm green eyes alit with determination. However, before he could react, the creature flew into a vigorous, lethal rage, and Adrian registered with surprise as Morgan and Alexis had their attacks reversed upon them, as if it was batting away mere flies. Seeing it advance upon Deliah, one thought ran into his mind, which had the instinctive urge to protect that his mentor had nurtured within him for a whole year: no.

In an instant, Adrian had teleported between the two. He flung his arm out, and in that moment, it was as if a spirit had posessed the creature, though in reality it was simply Adrian's ability to manipulate any type of spiritual energy. As his fingers spread out in front of him, the massive beast was levitated into the air via its existing spirit. A painful crunch was heard as its limbs continued to stretch, bending to the will of its spirit.

"The greater you resist, the greater the damage will be," he whispered softly, continuing to raise it ever higher (think Magneto from X2). Illuminated by the moonlight, with his eerie green gaze so calmly fixated on this monster, Adrian looked like Death himself. If anything, this almost sadistic display seemed reminiscent of the earlier Adrian, and there was no denying the power in those eyes.
 
::Missing Delilah with both passes of the blades thanks to Alexis.. the super soldier advanced upon BOTH women without missing a beat...until he found himself pulled up and suspended in the air. he flailed a bit before looking down at the other worldly looking man who was behind this attack...he made hardly a sound as his body was rendered..and manipulated. a lesser man might have buckled or passed out from it...but not this creature.::

:: a few moments passed...and it SEEMED like Bane had him in check..but unfortunately that was not the case::


:: the Shape was DEVOID of humanity his soul LOST. he was changed..reprogrammed..reSHAPED to his core by technology and magick...he was without reason or feeling per se....he FLUNG his blade at Bane's head...the machete zoomed with DEADLY aim...as The Shape HIMSELF followed, LUNGING down at Bane intending to BURY the blade through Bane's forehead::
 
"Adrian!"

:: Alexis waved her hand quickly, glamouring the blade into a swarm of locuses right as the blade was about to impale the man. The locuses began to swarm around the shape, disorienting him, but mainly there as an annoyance. ::

"Adrian, move!!"
 
[ MorningStar looked on in horror as the shape went berserk at the site of her holograms.

And now he was coming for HER! She felt something slam into her as she was forced to roll away from the creature's blows. Alexis. She had to admit to being half surprised that the meta human bothered. ]

"Thanks."

[ Seeing Alexis once more spring into action to save Adrian, as she called her warning to him, Delilah decided to assist her try and buy him some time.

Still on the ground she reached out with her powers, sending two light blasts from her hands directed at the monster's chest. It wouldn't stop him, but it might slow him for a second. ]
 
:: as the locusts and light blasts distracted and slowed his advance...a rushing sound was heard as a MASSIVE boulder flew from an intersecting path..SLAMMING into the shape and smashing him into a tree...::


::Guardian, kneeled down over Morgan...had gestured [ala' prue halliwell] and knocked the creature off its path toward the others::

you three fall back and regroup...ill do what i can!

:: she stood up and ran to meet the monster...he was ALREADY on his feet...and as he SWUNG mightly at Guardian...she immediately evaded his blow....again and again..using her precognition and the ability to alter her own temporal field::

you cant touch me. and whatever you attempt..i will know it before YOU do.

:: blinking from the spot she was in BEFORE he SMASHED the tree and caused it to fall, Guardian appeared behind him::

:: flinging her gloved hands forward [piper halliwell] Guardian TRUE FREEZES the super soldier....stopping his temporal field completely (or so she thinks) and freezing him to a molecular level...he is completely covered in a thick block of ice..::

::exhaling::

this creature is more powerfull than anyone of us could have guessed. he wont be held by this for long. we need to expunge him NOW and get Sharon and Alycia out of here!

:: returning to Morgan's side...::

i need a few moments to revive Morgan... are you three allright?


:: even as she said this...the block of ice began to crack and show signs of strain...THIS had NEVER happened before...clearly MysTech had been doing their homework when creating this creature to combat MAGICK as well.::
 
"As okay as can be expected."

[ She saw the block of ice starting to crack. If they were going to do something, it had to be now. ]

"Alexis, what if you, me, and Morgan focus all our power on that block at once. Could we shatter it and the creature with it?"
 
NO!!

Keep away from the creature!

we have to SPREAD OUT and not give him a chance to reach any of us again. the key is to attack him all at once as strongly as we can. your laser blasts, Shockwave's LIGHTNING bolts,. Spellbinder's stepping discs...

:: the ice block SHATTERS..and the creature FIGHTS through the temporal distortion::

:: holding Morgan close.....Guardian manifests a POWERFUL forcefield blocking the creature's DEADLY blows as he tries to pound and pummel the two women. the impact of his fists against the forcefield are so forcefull that the trees shake!::

Bane...use your power and HOLD HIM IN CHECK...give MorningStar and Shockwave a chance to attack!!
 
<< on the other side of the forcefield, spellbinder stirs....>>

uggh...what..HIT me?

<< she struggles to get her bearings...sitting up and looking at Alison first...then finally REMEMBERING where she was and what was going on>>

crap! he's STILL here??

<< healing her own wounds....she stays down with Alison...its TOO hard to withstand the force of his blows...it sounds like a truck smashing repeatedly into a house...as it fights the forcefield>>

is it possible he could BREAK the forcefield!?

<< knowing the answer should be NO...but this creature has thus far prooven every bit as powerful Alycia said he was. summoning a stepping disc. both Morgan and Alison are moved from that spot in a defensive position over to Alexis and Delilah>>

thank the goddess you two are okay.....the creature hasnt yet registered that we moved......Guardian says we have to hit him NOW.

so you two lead off, and ill use a disc to seperate the top half of his body from the lower half!
 
[ MorningStar instantly reacted. Jumping to her feet, she ran, putting distance between her and Alexis, Alison, and Morgan. She leapt into the air, rolled, and landed in a protective crouch.

Taking a deep breath, she summoned all the energy she could from inside her, also pulling light energy from the air around her. In one motion she forced that power out through her hands, resulting in powerful laser blasts raining on the creature. ]
