So I just came back from the midnight showing of the HP 7.2, and let me just say it was absolutely amazing. A fantastic way to end an era of an amazing story. In the trailers it made it seem like there was going to be a lot more action than there really is, however the movie was still action packed, and by far the most action-y of the 7. The storylines that were revealed and concluded were amazing--Snape's being my favorite. And I just adored the way they finished it. It was definitely bittersweet because I wanted to see the finished film, however then it would be just that, finished.

Harry Potter will definitely go down in history as the best movie franchise in history. :)

Anyone else see it or plan on seeing it?

Haven't seen even one. I hear they are quite good though. I'll probably get around to them all one day.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Harry Potter has cast his biggest spell yet with a record-breaking first day at the box office for his final film.

Distributor Warner Bros. reports that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" summoned up $92.1 million domestically on opening day Friday.

Ive read a couple of the books, saw bits of the first film but none of the others. Although I love magickal characters, Harry Potter just doesnt work that much for me. It always seems interesting to me when a sequel, especially one so far down the line in a franchise, opens w/ such strong box office numbers...i dont know why. i guess b/c im from the old school where the first/original is usually the best.

Yeah while i might not be checking this movie in theaters straight away it really setting some record numbers.
