:: Holding onto Rama's hand Riana could feel some of the pain inside her fade away, her heart was still broken badly, she had never loved anyone like she still loved Rayden, like she would always love him, but she could cope with it now, looking into his eyes she smiled, speaking to him through a mind link only he would be able to hear ::

Thank you.. I really needed that

:: Squeesing his hand softly she conjured herself a glass of champagne, taking a sip she felt alot stronger then before, if Ikaris wanted another shot at her... let him she was ready to rumble ::

:: Kurama smiled to Riana, he knew he could not fix a broken heart but he could at least smooth the path for her. Kurama kept that mind link open for now and responded. ::

Anytime hun... No matter what I will always be there for you..

:: Kurama pulled the winds in the room to lift up a Gin and Tonic and mix them and float the glass over to him. He missed having the power to just conjure but this was a little more fun. Kurama took a sip of his drink ::

You know, if they try anything with you anymore just call or even look and I will have your back in an instant

:: david simply shrugged at kurama's comment, the nerves no longer there. deciding that him and ri were going through some stuff that needed alone time, david turned and slowly walked away. stepping into the bathroom david began to wipe away his swiftly falling tears in front of the mirror. no-one knew why david was so afraid of being in a club like this, and he intended to keep it that way ::

come on david, pull it together....that isn't gonna happen again here, you have to let it go...

:: struggling with his own emotions, david let out a tormented scream, the chaos amulet around his neck shattering the glass of the mirror in front of him. realising what he just did, he used little raindrops to lift all the pieces of mirror back into position before freezing them all firmly in place with a thin layer of ice. trying to collect his emtions, he wiped away his tears again before clearing his face, and turning to step back out into the crowd ::

Natasha said:
:: raising her eyebrows at him, she couldn't resist the opportunity, and advancing on him until his back hit the wall, she placed her hands on his chest and gazed up into his eyes ::

"Oh really? You'd prefer somewhere private? And here i thought public was more your style..."

:: grinning, she let go of him and stepped back, relaxing. If he wanted to start up this game once more, she certainly wasn't going to let him win, especially not when he had come out the victor in their last meeting ::

"Yeah? You're not so bad company yourself!"

:: running a hand through her hair she smiled to him playfully, before chuckling ::

"Oh i see - so which one presented you with the brick wall, and which one gave you a talking to?"

:: biting her lip to stop from grinning, she sighed as the conversation turned serious once more. She was thankful that he had offered his help - indeed - perhaps she could use his opinion. But then again - maybe this was a problem she had to solve on her own. ::

"Thankyou for the offer. I might just take you up on that. Get a guy's opinion, you see."

"Uh Natasha I....um, more private yeah"

:: Completely caught off guard, looking around to see if Will was about. On edge - this was not expected and he didnt know what to do - especially after being warned off. Sighing and shaking his head - she had got him and she knew she had scored that point. All he could to was grin back act like she didnt get him - although he knew that she knew.::

"Well Will with the brick wall and Riana with the talking too. Its not like I did anything bad - and you werent complaining"

:: then remembering Jaron's message::

"Oh yeah - Jaron just left. he told me to say goodbye to you and that he would like to catch up "

:: turning serious as well before breaking out in a grin, trying to nod seriously::

"A guy's opinion? Well that would have to be a first - a woman wanting as guys opinion. You're not sick or anything?"

"I guess we can start off in private, and then work up to public. If you're up to it, of course..."

:: with a playful wink, knowing she had leveled the playing field somewhat, she chuckled and moved closer to him to afford a better view of the stars. It had been a while since she had been out, and tonight was certainly a lovely night. A night to reconnect, and to think about things. Turning for a better look at him, she heard his next words and shrugged them off ::

"I wouldn't worry about Will - he wasn't himself when he did that. And besides - he's not my keeper. No - you didn't do anything bad. And i certainly wasn't complaining. Quite the opposite really..."

:: letting her words hang in the crisp night air, she exhaled and then shook her head at Jaron's message. Mumbling to herself she chuckled ::

"I bet he'd like to catch up. Do more than catch up."

:: raising her voice she looked back to him and nodded her head ::

"Yes - i guess he would. Hopefully he finds his way home safely tonight. He witnessed a few interesting events, and said a few interesting things. It will be intriguing to see if he thinks the same way tomorrow about things."

:: smiling to him at his last comment, she bit her lip and shrugged. Expect the unexpected - that's what she always believed ::

"I guess then i'm different to who you had me picked out as. Always unique, that's what i say. But i would like a guy's opinion - feel like offering a gal some advice, Seth? Or do you not do 'talking' - intent to focus on action rather than words?"

"I guess that is a pretty good plan"

:: Seth nodded in mock seriousness, before breaking into a grin. The grin disappearing quickl from his face, then waving a hand dismissively::

"Oh I'm not worried about him. Just what he would do to me! No. But I do know when to not interfere, I do have some curtesy for others"

:: Raising an eyebrow at her last comments::

"Not complaining? So you did like it - dont let someone hear that. You might be in more trouble than me"

:: Letting the silence go on for a while more - before speaking"

"oh Jaron will be fine - but tell me since you have got me interested, what did he say?"

:: Seth tried to be as casual about it as possible. He had to keep an eye on Jaron, still not trusting him and if he was to be honest - he was a little jealous of the ease in which Jaron could speak to women::

"There is a lot more to you than i thougt - i admit. But sure ask away, I'll try to help."

:: Chuckling softly at her last comment, leaning closer to her::

"I prefer action to words, hands down"

:: Kevins eyes snapped open, he had been lost in his own memories and emotions once again, in a mere daze. He sighed and looked down at his glass, setting it down infront of him and telekinetically pushing it away from him ::

Damn Alchohol

:: He shook his head and looked around, obvoiusly he had missed alot. Sighing he shrugged his shoulders and stood up, tensions even more higher then ever. He could feel it, Hell the emotions of his Coven mates were practically screaming in his ears. He sighed and looked over towards Kurama and Riana, obvoiusly going through some personal issues, he wondered if he should intrude or not. He shrugged and looked towards the bathroom, more tormented emotions running through whoever was in there. He raised his shoulder in a half shrug and made his way towards the bathroom door, creaking it open to see David wiping away tear drenched cheeks, he stepped into the room. Closing the door behind him and leaning on the wall ::

" Whats wrong? "

:: He masked his true emotions from the Crusader, a look of semi-concern etching into his features. The Crusaders of Power sure had a hell of alot of problems, and The Nexus couldent help but get involved ::

"More than good. Exceptional."

:: watching him smile made her smile and she grinned with him. It was good to just be herself for once - not worry about appearances and politics and everything else that went along with being a leader. And if she was being truthful to herself - some of that was due to Seth's company. ::

"If he knows what's good for him he won't do anything to you, and leave well enough alone. There's already too many problems without having infighting within the side. Besides - if he does anything again, I'll just have to heal you once more and that is rather draining if i am to be honest. Speaking of which - are you still in pain? I could check that for you if you like..."

:: moving over to him quickly, she placed her hands on his stomach and lightly brushed her fingertips across the area, checking for any damage. Continuing to listen to her words, she shrugged and spoke ::

"I don't mind trouble - sometimes it can be rather - exciting."

:: chuckling at his questioning of Jaron's motives - it seems the friendship hadn't completely been rebuilt yet - she continued examining the area where he had fallen as she spoke ::

"Jaron is quite the no nonsense speaking, forward acting man. He told me with a great degree of confidence and without any hesitation that he was going to make a play for me. And that he would let nothing stop him. So it seems not everyone has your courtesy."

:: keeping her eyes on him she smiled and nodded her head. It would be good to get a man's opinion on the matter ::

"I was just wondering whether you would let your heart or your head guide a decision you needed to make."

:: raising an eyebrow at his last comment, she smiled and winked toward him ::

"Hands down, indeed! I think you'd be quite good at action, too."

:: moving closer to him, she slipped her hands underneath his shirt in order to get a better gauge on whether there was any bruising and damage. Running her hands across his stomach and around his lower back she concentrated on the task at hand, and moving her hands back to his sides, sqeezed gently ::

"Does that hurt? Is is tender, or are you in any pain?"

"I dont need you defending me - I can take care of myself!''

:: Seth's stubborness showing, growing silent suddenly as she mentioned how draining it was. Looking embarrassed for two reasons. The first being he hadnt said thank you for before, and the secong reason being her hands on him. Shifting his weight slightly::

"I'm feeling alright. No pain at all"

:: whispering softly, barely audible::

"Be careful what you wish for"

:: Laughing gently at her ovbservations of Jaron, nodding, agreeing.::

"Jaron has always been like that- but I must admit I have seen him go after a woman as much as he has you. There is something about you Natasha. As for me and courtesy - if thats what you want to call it - its just not me to be blunt like that"

:: Raising an eyebrow at her question. It was an interesting one and one that he was not expecting. So he took his time - considering just how to answer that.::

" I dont know whether my answer will help you or only confuse you more. But me personally I try to go with my head, but in the end the heart always wins out"

:: He then noticed that she still had her hands on him as she slipped them underneath his shirt. Looking down to watch her for a moment, then grabbing her hands firmly and tkaing them off of him. Moving back and then looking away::

"Dont - I'm fine"

"Is there some sort of manly code that sets out rules for you guys to behave if you believe your 'ego' is hurt? Because honestly, sometimes i don't understand you!"

:: watching him almost fidget as she worked to make sure he was ok, she raised her eyes up to meet his and sighed. ::

"Good. I wouldn't want you to be in any discomfort."

:: lowering her voice to match his as she heard his comments, she kept her eyes on him, searching his face ::

"I'm not as careful a girl as some might think. And as for wishes - i only ever wish for what i want."

:: turning the conversation back to less problematic topics, she continued to search for any unseen injuries and chuckled as he spoke ::

"Something about me indeed! Something that probably gets me in more trouble than its worth! I guess bluntness is part of his charm then - he's very forthright and honest, and he says what he feels. I suppose women know where they stand with him. From what he told me it worked for him in the past - he got a bit bashful when i asked just how successful it was."

:: nodding as he answered her question, she exhaled. It was how she thought he might answer - and indeed it was the way she was leaning to with her decision. But he had definitely helped her, and she was glad of the help ::

"Thankyou. That has helped me and i will consider what you have said."

:: her mood changing the instant he took her hands - from relative calm to anger, she watched him and wrenching her hands free from him, removed her hands forcefully from his grasp. Turning her back to him and looking away, she spoke, her voice tainted with controlled annoyance ::

"It seems you are. Excuse me for taking the time to make sure you were ok. It won't happen again."

"A manly code as you call it? You women are so funny. No - just that its the man's job to look after themselves plus the women!"

:: He scoffed, ego hurt indeed! Eyes widening suddenly - realising that she had heard his little comment. He just kept his mouth shut, rollling his eyes on her comments about Jaron::

"God!- the way you talk about him - could make me sick! And hey now worries - anytime you want help..."

:: He was then left with his mouth wide open in shock as she ripped her hands away, hands dropping to his side. Loooking down at the ground after she turned away - shoulders slightly hunched. He considered just leaving, but all that she had done for him tonight...Sighing, he moved to be infront of her, hesistantly he spoke::

"Natasha...I know what you were trying to do and I am grateful. I just dont think it was....the way it would have looked if someone else saw. I'm trying to keep you out of rouble!"

:: Sighing, he looked at her so confused::

"I dont know what you want from me"

"Please! As if you men are easy to understand! Instruction manuals in another language are easier to read than you guys!"

:: tilting her head to the side, she raised an eyebrow at his words and chuckled. It was interesting to see that both Seth and Jaron had quite a few personality traits in common, but at the same time they were both complete opposites as well ::

"That's quite interesting actually - because he said the same thing about what i said about you -"

:: her shoulders stiffening as she saw him step in front of her, she forced herself to look up at him. Upset herself, she let his words wash over her and tried to keep her emotions in check ::

"Firstly - take a look around you - there is no-one even remotely present. Secondly, even if someone did happen to stumble upon us, there is a completely rational explanation for what went on, and i trust those people i love to give me time to provide that to them. And thirdly - its not as if its anything wrong anyway - i mean, we weren't - well - you know - trying anything -"

:: blushing quickly, she looked away before turning back to him in time to catch the expression in his eyes as he spoke his next words. Keeping her eyes on him, as confused as he was, she replied ::

"Why do i have to want something from you? And if i do, why does that have to be so bad? Why can't it be something that is welcome to you?"

Growing increasingly bored, Sati took the time to venture into the ladies' room. As expected, it was about as lavish and perfectly decorated as the rest of Blaze. Studying her reflection critically in the mirror, she smiled softly. Whereas most women had to worry about their make up wearing thing, Sati did not have that trouble. She could change her make up in a fraction of a second, and achieve effects that most women could only dream of.

A moment after Sati entered, she emerged again, smiling softly to herself. Finding herself in the main area, she mingled for a little while, dancing her way across the floor. Another drink held firmly and softly in hand, she turned only to realise that the simpering wreck behind her was none other than the traiterous goody goody Riana. Spying an opening, Sati approached them. She cared little that Riana was having a conversation with whoever was next to her - someone she realised to be Kurama a moment later - and instead simply seated herself beside them. Turning her violet eyes onto the newly promoted Eques Lumen beside her, Sati smiled warmly. None of her emotions shone through her gaze, for Sati was a master at hiding them, just as she was a master at concealing her thoughts. Indeed, Sati looked rather like she was sitting down for a chat with an old friend.

Momentarily, she glanced at Kurama. "Weren't we having a conversation a moment ago? Right before you let loose the full... debateable.. force of your feminine side? Yes? Good."

Turning the focus of her attention once more onto Riana, she smiled again. "If I were you? I'd get used to it. You've set the rest of your life now. You were one of the most powerful forces of evil in the world, and that's not something that people just let go of."

:: Kurama looked up to see Sati rudely sit in between himself and Riana. Kurama payed her no attention and leaned forwards to look at Ri. Kurama continued to speak to her with their private connection ::

Don't let her get to you, you know you were 100 times the Dire Wraith she could ever hope to be and 1000 times the being she could ever hope to be. She is just trying to seem like she is better when in reality she knows she isnt. So just ignore her.

:: Kurama smiled to his friend completely ignoring Sati ::

Feigning hurt, Sati raised an eyebrow in Kurama's direction.

"Talking about me in a private conversation? I'm hurt. Can't say I'm particularly surprised, though... you never could deliver anything to my face. Sneaking around behind people's backs was about the only thing you were good for, and sneaking over snuffing up the far more regal backsides of those on the opposing side was about the only thing that was ever going to grant you the power that you were desperately lapping at Farrah's heels for. But I didn't come over here for this."

Flipping her hair back, she raised her eyebrows in Riana's direction. "Tell me. Is that really any way for him to treat an old friend? You should take it upon yourself to teach him a little social etiquette."

:: Kurama looks as if he just noticed Sati there with a look of shock ::

"Oh my Sati, I am sorry, I didn't see you. But I'm sorry I am not as rude as you to talk about people behind their backs covertly. Those were the types of things Metamorphs were meant for."

:: Kurama smiled sweetly and then acted as if Sati had wandered off and put full attention to Ri ::

Finding his answer amusing, she barely suppressed a laugh.

"Actually, metamorphs were meant to covertly kill people. Gossiping is hardly the most respectable of traits. And I seem to remember a time when you actually enjoyed your feeble attempts to kill, so I would highly advise you against trying to pull any of your sanctimonious bullshit on me. Still, when it came to killing I suppose I was the expert, wasn't I? All those little toys and you still couldn't manage to pull off anything spectacular. Even now, when you're supposed to be on a level playing field with us... Farrah disposed of you like the back-alley trash you are."

Scrunching up her nose in a patronising sort of way, she turned away from Riana for a moment to observe Kurama. "I see gaining power hasn't helped you to mature any. Still as childish as you always were, kicking up a hopeless drama just to gain attention, and when you're confronted with someone you don't like.... why, you just pretend they aren't there. Highly mature of you. Try taking tips from Riana here about how to be mature. That is, assuming she's still speaking to you after this. I have to say, a young woman as upset as she is needs some quiet downtime. You? Being the great friend you are, you decide to kick up a storm with the first person to arrive."

Again, starting to grow inwardly irritated with Kurama's constant interruptions, she sat back so that both Riana and Kurama were in her sights. "Now, I came here for a civil talk. Are you capable of that, or is that beyond your intelligence?"

:: Hearing Rama's message in her head she just smiled and turned to Sati giving the girl a warm smile she spoke ::

"Hello Sati, congrats on your promotion to Dire Wraith.. I'm sure you'll do a good job filling my old postion, O and don't worry about Rama here he and I understand eachother very clearly"

:: Winking at Rama she opened another mindlink ::

O don't worry hun..I'm back.. let them come to me let them be as nice or as nasty as they want.. we know we're stronger then they will ever be

:: Turning back to Sati, she crossed her long legs ::

"So Sati tell me.. did you come up with the idea of talking to me all by yourself or did one of my "friends" send you here to see how weak I really am?"

:: Still smiling warmly at the other woman she relaxed in her seat, Riana was back and here to stay ::

Relieved that her earlier estimation of Riana's state was true, Sati smiled softly to herself. She normally prided herself on being able to read people, and had Riana burst into tears that moment, she would hardly have been able to continue with that statement.

"Please, give me a little credit. I've never been anybody's lap dog. I leave that task to, well..."

Her gaze travelled over to Rayden's last position, the hint of a knowing smirk lingering upon her features.

"So tell me. How're those crusaders of power, treating you?"

:: Raising an eyebrow at Sati's remark Riana looked at her smiling back ::

"O they are good, what can I say.. we walk around with big white wings on our backs all day and play chess, big fun"

:: Taking a sip of her champagne she smirked ::

"How about MoE? still having all those orgies in the Hell Fire club?"
