Catholic Leaders Call On Gingrich And Santorum To About Poverty | ThinkProgress

More than 40 different catholic leaders across the country so far have joined in a concerted voice telling these two to stop using divisive rhetoric.
I'm glad SOMEBODY ELSE is seeing what I'm seeing b/c these two have been especially overt & over the top w/ the racist rhetoric.
Gingrich spouts off about "food stamps being an african american issue" when IN FACT the Dept. of Labor & the U.S. Census Bureau both show that a) the majority of food stamp recipients are in southern "red states" & b) whites receive/use foodstamps @ a rate 2 - 3X HIGHER than blacks (according the to the U.S. Census Bureau as of 2010) & outpace ALL racial groups counted in the census for that.
