Nicolas smiled as he saw morgan appear, then make her way towards them. That smile faded as she was quickly overcome by bats, muffling her scream as they encircled her.

Morgan!!

Nicolas reached into the ground, tossing a large rock into the air. He animated this rock, using projectiles of it to kill bats as they escaped Morgans blast and Persephone's lava. He killed several stragglers but called to Persephone.

Ava! We need EVERY bat to stay here to be eradicated. They are famous vectors for disease, and vampire bats are certainly non-native.

He continued picking bats off. As he did so, he searched everyone's skin for ANY breaks, top to bottom and over and under clothing. A somewhat creepy power if used for bad, but he only wanted to keep the ladies safe from infection.:p

outside the mansion in Arklay forest

<< and so the members of the six, along with Alycia do their best to pick and fend off the swarm of agressive, cannibal, zombiefied vampire bats. its no small task and Nicolas' "probing" of the women's physical frames....regardless of his intentions draws SHARP criticism from Alison and Alycia.>>

<< even in the most difficult situations, the women of the six maintained their nearly indomitable wills, their strong stances and while some were less extreme (Delilah and Haleigh) than others, and some were more subtle with their expressions (Persephone) Nicolas would do well to remember that the women of the six were unlike most on the planet and it wasnt just because they were super powered mutants or metahumans.>>

<< after fending off the swarm of bats, the six did not destroy them all...but those that remained seemed to fall back and disappear in the swarming black clouds of the stormy night sky. Spellbinder landed, and was not bitten or infected but the look on her face was quite telling as to her meeting with Delilah and Connor.>>

back in New York

<< Connor did his best to comfort Delilah but even HE had to know that he was on dangerous ground. Whatever his feelings for Delilah were...they were almost incidental. His true purpose was to destroy Sharon, Alycia and expose the Six. he saw himself as some angel of death and justice for criminals and that included the "mutant scum"...he mad no distinction between a mutant, witch or metahuman....they ALL had to pay and in THAT..he really WAS the bigot that Morgan called him out to be but Delilah, with her captive heart, STILL didnt see the truth.>>

<< They were now the only ones not yet in the forest or at the mansion but as Alison had seen it...they would be soon enough and only when it was perhaps TOO LATE would Delilah finally see the truth. She'd allowed her heart to be lost in a fog...and for the wrong man...but how many lives would be lost because of her crisis of beliefs? would she even LIVE to see the error of her ways?>>

<< the storm clouds gather and swell over the skies of the mountain range and forest...and so we watch.>>

inside the Arklay mansion

<< as Spellbinder landed, the rain began to fall. it wasted no time getting heavy and pelting as they all rushed inside the Mansion and the doors slammed behind them. they were now inside the massive foyer. the dimly lit area provided no warmth or comfort as they now stood inside. the sound of the storm springing to life outside while faint echoes of wind, whispers of what could be evil spirits or evil creatures seemed to linger in the air.>>

<< Morgan caught a glimpse of her own warped reflection in the breast plate of an armoured figure standing near the east wing entrance to the exhibit room where the picture of a young Malice was found. she couldnt help but take a moment to primp, even then.>>

Obviously i didnt succeed with Delilah. She's either too blind...or just too stupid...i dont know.

<< Morgan spoke with bitterness.>>

she's acting like she's been picked to go up on the cross for the sins of all mutant kind.....

<< the more she thought about it, the more she remembered Delilah's words..the more it irritated her.>>

and that stupid OAF, Connor...standing there sniping away. This is what he WANTED. If she hadnt been there..I wouldve knocked him across the room just to show him that he is NOTHING. I told him to stay away from me...from sharon..from US or i'd KILL HIM.

<< Morgan didnt edit herself and her sharp tone as she said "kill him" echoed throughout the area around them....the sound MIGHT draw unwanted attention. thunder crashed outside as the rain pelted the mansion.>>

I dont know when or how they're getting here...but Alison said we'd ALL be here at some point. we may as well get going...

<< Morgan was not yet aware of the plan that Haleigh and Ava had crafted for splitting up.>>

...any word on Sharon?

<< Morgan looks around the massive, circular area...and noticed a solitary body...a zombie that was riddled with spinning stars from its head down to its feet. it was laying on its back and looked rather petrified with a look of distress.>>

Looks like she's been through here and knows what to do with the ....residents...

<< the howling of zombie dobermans could be heard in the air around them as lightning flashed across the sky.>>

let's just get in here and do what we need to do.

<< clearly Morgan was perturbed about Delilah being so STUPID in her opinion. she didnt seem to want to discuss much anything else and for the moment, she wasnt disturbed by the prospect of stalking the halls of this scarey place.>>

Inside Arklay

Nicolas set his jaw against the sharp criticism he knew he would draw for his probe of everyone. He realized the pride and inner strength of the women he teamed with, but he would gladly face any of their wrath if he thought that he could keep them safe. Someday, they would understand him better, realize that he could do the scan without it being prurient. But for now, he endured their criticisms, glad that everyone was OK.

He watched Morgan land, her anger at this point projecting outward like a beacon. He left her to her own emotions for now, and settled in at the rear as the team entered the mansion, escaping the rain and closing the door behind them. The evidence of Sharon's earlier arrival lay all around them.

Alycia, Ava, you two hatched the plan of attack for this place. How do we proceed?

:: As Morgan landed safely, everyone entered the mansion. But before the doors slammed shut, Persephone extended both hands out in front of her, calling upon her elemental powers. The winds began to pick up and the temperature dropped drastically. As the doors slammed shut [protecting the six from the sub zero temperatures] the surrounding forest went into a bitter deep freeze, rivaling that of the winters in Antartica. ::

:: The winds howled outside, creating an even more 'eerie' atmosphere within the mansion. Looking around as Morgan spoke about Conner and Delilah, quite frankly, Ava just wanted to focus on the task at hand, and deal with Delilah and her sudden leap onto the moral high horse, later. ::

"Nicolas; you Haleigh, and Alycia will proceed as a team and try to erraticate the virus within the mansion. I already took care of the surrounding forest, so there's no need to worry about that. Morgan, Alison, and myself will search for Sharon. [gesturing to her ear] Everyone has earpieces in, curtosy of Haleigh. Keep the com open at all times."

Things were going quite well, all things considered. Morgan was approaching, and though she was overcome with a swarm of bats, she hardly slowed. Nicolas and Ava helped to wrangle the bats as many of them broke off from attacking Morgan in order to attack the rest of the crew on the ground. Haleigh pulled a small black speaker from thin air, pushed a button, and held it up over her head. ALL of the bats that survived the attack immediately CALMED and took refuge among the surrounding, leafless trees.

"You know, everyone.... we don't ALWAYS have to maim and kill. I mean... don't get me wrong.... I like brutality and violence as much as the next reformed malevolently unethical warlord.... but sometimes, using our brain instead of our brawn will allow a quicker, tidier solution. Bats communicate and coordinate their behavior via a kind of sonar. By replicating the signal we can bend them to OUR will without them even realizing it. [pulling off a bat that was clinging to her shoulder] Then we can avoid the bloodbath until it's really necessary. Like once we actually get INTO the mansion."

She gave a curt smile, as Spellbinder rejoined them and expressed disapproval of Delilah's choice.

"I don't understand.... this has never been a problem for her before. Doesn't she realize that we're in the business of SAVING LIVES? Of COURSE we would rather save some one than have them die, at our hand or any other's.... but SOME lives can't-- or SHOULDN'T be saved. The latter would most CERTAINLY include those who attempt to blow us up in our own brownstones. People who wish to do us harm should be dealt with accordingly. I'll be glad to be the first to say I WANTED St. James to fall to Sharon. I'm a hero, not a SAINT. With him out of the picture, we're ALL safe from his meddling. I don't care WHAT good he THINKS he's doing, Morgan. If it comes to blows with this guy, I've got your back. We've GOT to draw the line somewhere. Like I said before.... protecting OURSELVES comes before protecting others. If WE don't survive... who's going to protect the world from Mystech?"

It came to Haleigh's attention that Nicolas was scanning her for cuts or scrapes... and though she KNEW it was only to make sure she was still in good health.... it was disconcerting to know that he would be so familiar with her body... and so brazen as to do this without asking permission. She shot him an 'EXCUSE you?' look.

"Nicolas, darling. As flattering as your attention always is, now is HARDLY the time to be undressing me with your eyes. My health has never been so elevated as it is NOW and not to sound too hot-to-trot, of us ALL, I'm the one LEAST likely to come down with negative side effects from exposure to this virus. I love you to death, sweetheart, and I appreciate your concern, but unless you want to spend the rest of eternity with your eyeballs detached from the rest or your body, I suggest you STOP taking advantage of your abilities in such an INVASIVE way."

Persephone doled out a game plan as they entered the mansion, and Haleigh nods, offering flashlights to anyone who might like one.

"Sounds good to me. Remember to keep a look out for Experiment 23. It's bound to be lumbering about here SOMEWHERE and they LAST thing you want is to be caught unawares by it."

Haleigh dear, I am glad you are flattered, but my actions are strictly business. Besides, I am more than happy to risk injury to make sure you are all right. And you hadn't threatened me in WEEKS. I missed it.

Nicolas took the rear in their group as Ava separated them.

Haleigh, you are a natural point with your skills. Determine the best course and I will back your play. Alycia, stay between us and keep close. I will watch your backs.

inside the mansion

:: for her part, Harbinger gestured ala' Prue Halliwel and "swept" some bats away as they redoubled their efforts for Morgan. these bats sparked urgency and repulsion from Nicolas and Ava and understandibly- they were virus carriers and they were flesh eaters, but Black Widow made a sound move using sonar to send them into a calm state.::

:: once they got inside, the storm begin. Persephone placed the forest in a DEEP FREEZE, nullifying all movement and most likely checking the virus through the run of the forest.::

:: Morgan spoke harshly about Delilah and Connor. Haleigh agreed with Morgan's position about dealing with him.::

Agreed. Connor cannot be allowed to continue but we can't let him distract us. the time will come when his actions will seal his own fate and we may not have to do much of ANYTHING.

:: clearly she saw something in his future during the caper in the mansion but she didnt elaborate on it....but instead she fixed her cobalt blue eyes on Nicolas.::

DON'T SCAN ME!

:: she snapped with harshness. of them all, she was the least clothed right now due to what she was wearing and his power swept over her body with such THOROUGH scrutiny that it made her mistep a bit like a woman being caught in an up draft.::

:: she wouldve responded against a STRANGER by launching him across the room with her own TK, channeling it through her EYES but as it was Nicolas, she gave him a break as Haleigh scolded him as well, followed by Alycia.::

His methods....as usual...impetuous. His youth prevents him from sometimes making the more WISE descision...but ultimately his intention was not one of selfish or perverse motivation.

:: she said, with a slight disapproving tone as she swept her hand over her mini skirt as she adjusted her blue corsett::

:: it was time for them to split up. Morgan was still fuming, and Alison put her hand on Morgan's shoulder.::

things are happening as they were meant to. Delilah has to learn the error of her ways first hand. WE have a job to do and we must go forward while there's still time. Sharon is in the mansion, far ahead of us and while we look for her, the others will try to find and destroy the G virus completely.

:: the creepy atmosphere of the mansion began to set in on them all..as haunting whispers, soft winds and noises in the far off distance seemed to fill the air more consistently as the group fell silent for a moment. Haleigh reminds them of Experiment 23 aka Kyle.::

everyone needs to be carefull.

:: with cautious farewells for the time being, the two groups head off. Morgan, Alison and Ava up the main stairs, while Haleigh, Alycia and Nicolas stay ont he mainfloor this time and head back through the west wing to the dining hall toward one of the swinging doors.::

into the mansion

<< Morgan was trying to calm herself down....she was distracted when she noticed Alycia, Alison and Haleigh getting after Nicolas for some reason...he was "scanning them" with his power!?>>

Nicolas!

<< she said in a reprimanding tone. Nicolas explained it was strictly business and for cautionary reasons, still she looked at him for a moment.>>

that STILL was rather...invasive of you.

<< Alison gave him the benefit of the doubt, all things considered and Morgan trusted that he understood why the women felt as they did. perhaps it was a necessary evil since they were dealing with so many possible risk exposures to the G virus but Haleigh definately was the one that had the LEAST to lose from further exposure since she was carrying a "Designer version" of this original virus.>>

<< as Ava revealed her plan, Morgan had no problem with it and nodded.>>

allright, but if anything happens, if things get too crazy for anybody...you make SURE you call for help and you watch yourself Alycia....Connor might be lurking around here in a few hours and he's looking for you and Sharon most of all.

<< Morgan didnt want to leave Alycia, but she trusted Nicolas and Haleigh to protect her PLUS Alycia could take care of herself, even in a place like th is. she'd prooven that before during their first trip...facing terrifying situations and not cracking.>>

<< Haleigh made mention of Experiment 23....>>

I hope WE find Sharon before SHE finds HIM or HE finds HER... goddess grant our powers be sufficient to fight him off...

<< at that moment...the groaning and moaning of zombies could be heard in the air against the thunder outside.>>

we'd better get moving, before we get stuck here with another welcoming committee.

good luck you guys...

<< Morgan waves at Nicolas, Haleigh and Alycia before they go one way, and her group another.>>

<< up the main stairs and to the right, up another flight of stairs, back to the hallway where they first encountered the creature once known as Kyle.>>

<< morgan fashions a orb of mystic energy and sends it up in the air to hover and float above them for increased lighting in the dark hall.>>

stay together everyone...and be ready for ANYTHING.

<< all the women had heels on but the thick red carpet muffled the sound of their heels thankfully.>>

Alison...do you have any idea which way we need to go? this hall has so many doors on EITHER SIDE...

and off they go

:: so much happened so fast as Morgan appeared...but thankfully, they escaped the bats and were now inside just as the rain began to fall. for a brief moment, Alycia enjoyed the respite but this was HARDLY a safe place. it was worse at NIGHT than it was when they were there the last time in the daytime. sounds in the air, creaking in the foundation itself, a raging storm outside.::

:: Alycia shook her head as she looked at her scanner.::

this place has come to life with all sorts of activity on nearly every floor. creatures of all sorts and dimensions....and Sharon's bio signature is still strong as ever. she's deep in the mansion...way ahead of us. but no signal for Kyl...experiment 23.

:: Alycia felt a "wave" washing over her body...it was shocking, and unusual all at once. she didnt know who or what it was until Haleigh and Alison began to scold Nicolas.::

how DARE you!

:: she said with irritation.::

you might have ASKED first! even a DOCTOR will inform his patient of a procedure or exam.

:: after a few moments, Nicolas explains himself and Alycia huffs with annoyance as she checks her weapons, and makes sure she's ready to move ahead, drawing forth her custom designed golden desert eagles. the plan is set, the groups determined.::

Don't worry Morgan, I CAN pull my weight even in a place like this....and I'll be fine. I promise...

:: still , lingering thoughts of Experiment 23 capturing her did haunt her a bit, inspite of Nicolas' promise. But it was that promise that made it easier for her to risk venturing DEEPER into the mansion now. there was no going back.::

:: she left with Haleigh and Nicolas.::

Don't worry Nicolas, this isnt a horror movie and i'm not a bimbo. i know not to go traipsing off into any unexplored part of this creepy place alone.

:: to the left and through the double doors into that dining hall they went...the rain was much louder in here and they could see the storm through the large windows facing the garden on one side, while on the other were several swinging doors leading to the kitchen, overhead was the balcony from the second floor.::

this is where they first greeted us the last time...

:: thunder rolls::

but i'm not getting any scans....but i AM getting an indication that there's a "secret" passage in the kitchen, beyond these swinging doors....and several zombies are moving about in there as well.

:: Haleigh, Morgan, and Alison all snapped at Nicolas who was 'scanning' them for injuries. Giving Nicolas a look, Ava, who was normally the first person to berate and yell at the mutant, simply brushed passed him. She was in mission mode and had no time for him at the moment. Reaching the stairs, Ava looked back as Morgan and Alison made their way over to her. ::

"Good luck...and stay safe."

:: Looking to Alycia, Haleigh, and Nicolas, she finally turned around as the three woman ascended the stairs, seperating from the rest of the team. Reaching a long dark coridoor, Morgan released a mystic ball of light, allowing the woman to see a few feet in front of them. However, with Ava's feline like eyesight, she had the ability to see perfectly in the dark; allowing her to see farther ahead than Alison and Morgan. ::

:: Morgan asked Alison which way they should go, to which Ava gestured to one of the closed doors, hearing a grunting and gargling sound. ::

"Not in there..."

:: Whispering sarcastically, Persephone held her hand out toward the door knob, the metal freezing instantly, locking whatever it was, in the room. ::

Nicolas put up a defensive excuse, and Haleigh looked him down, raising a brow in a 'be for real' manner.... but she couldn't help but crack a smile when he said he missed her recent lack of lethal threats. She playfully blew him a kiss. She DID understand his intentions, and could see that he was only trying to help.... but it was important for him to know that there were STILL boundaries, even in a situation like this, and he ought to respect that, if nothing else. If she were fatally wounded, she would forgo otherwise reasonable expectations for privacy. Until then... she preferred if she didn't sense his proverbial 'eyes' all over her. ESPECIALLY not with Morgan right there in the room with them.

"And you know, if you were my OB/GYN, I'd buy the 'just business' line. Just mind your manners, you supernatural peeping tom. And come this way.... with the samples I collected from my LAST visit here, I can search out carriers of the virus and pinpoint there location... and it looks like going through the dining room to its adjacent chambers will be a gold mine."

arklay mansion, 2nd floor

:: Alison smirked a bit as Ava locked whatever was festering behind that door in its room permanently.::

many of these doors lead to living quaters for the staff. some zombies are still in their rooms from the time they originally died and despite all the time that has passed, they have not figured how to come of their rooms. that will be of tremendous benefit to us.

however, there is that...unusual evolved zombie, the "crimson head" that will we have to watch out for...they are faster, STRONGER, and more coordinated. Haleigh and Alycia encountered some during their first trip here.

Ava and I studied as much of the layout of the mansion that we could find. much of it was "more than meets the eye" in design. but in order to find the inner passages and workings, we're going to have to go all the way down this hall and to the right...toward the same door alycia and haleigh went t hrough when they found the file on Kyle. once there, we'll pass through a small medical storage closet with a secret passage leading into the dungeon where kyle was kept until he became too monstrous to control. we'll have to go from there.

:: and so, with caution, the two witches and the goddess proceed down the darkened hall. passing some doors where they could hear noises from the other side. others were quiet. the storm was now muffled in its sound as they moved down the hall. Morgan's mystic orb providing light, even though Ava didnt need it and Alison's precognition was enough to compensate for her, Morgan was the only one with normal range vision.::

here we are.

:: at the door, Morgan took point and opened it, going into the small medical storage closet. nothing terribly interesting there save the wall which hid the door. Alison waved her hand and a rushing, chiming sound was heard as the door was forced open by her TK. the women had to walk in single file down the passage leading into the dimly lit dungeon room where Kyle was once kept. evidence of the battle between Haleigh, ALycia and the monster remained. on the one wall was a secret door which would lead them BACK down the same length of the hall they'd pass through but this time they'd be walking on the inside, seeing the many rooms from one way mirrors. straight ahead though was the secret door they wanted.::

through this door...we'll find another passage, and soon a spiral stair case leading us down. that is where we need to go.

downward spiral

<< as they moved along, Morgan stepped forward to open the door, incase it had to be forced open by strength. it wasnt required and they soon found themselves in a medical storage closet, then down a narrow passage into the room where kyle was once kept.>>

this is where they kept him in between experiments...a room with shakles, hardly any light...no windows....

it was like a prison.

<< she ssaid with regret in her voice. but still they couldnt spend too much time here, lest he show up out of no where. Alison directed them on and Morgan lead the way...passing through that dungeon room into a pitch black corridor that the mystic ball illuminated.>>

its so CLOSE....

<< the sound of howling of some sort was heard in the air and they seemed to be on a downward slope and just when it felt like they couldnt get any further, they finally found themselves on a grated platform...looking toward a spiral stair case. the sound of creaking metal and dripping water could be heard.>>

only one way to go now....DOWN.

<< and as they begin their descent...they heard more growling. it seemed closer. Morgan stopped as she looked around.>>

Persephone....can you sense any creatures?? animals of mutated or zombie nature?

<< it was so dark and even the mystic ball was not illuminating the whole LENGTH of the descent and what they didnt see in the endless darkness around them were monkeys...LARGE , clawed monkeys with fangs, red eyes and possessing immense speed, strength, agility and a BLOOD LUST. they were monkeys infected with the virus and thus, zombiefied. they were hanging from pipes all around the descent and laying in wait.>>

:: Alison pointed out that within some of the rooms dwelled the original guests who had yet to figure their way out. Raising her brows, Ava gave Alison a look. ::

"I'm not taking any chances."

:: Smirking, as they passed each door, Ava froze the handles and hardware, giving the three woman a bit of reassurance knowing they wouldn't have to 'watch their backs' so to speak. Finally reaching the end of the hall, they made their way into the small medical storage room, before going through a door that led them down to the dungeon that Kyle was kept. Cupping her nose and mouth with her hand, the smell of stale urine, feces, mold, and death completely overwhelmed her already heightened senses. ::

"Good God..."

:: It took a few minutes for Persephone to adjust to the smell before letting go of her mouth and nose. Walking forward, her heals scuffed the stone floor as she made her way to the door that Alison had 'saw' them needing to go through. Putting her hand on the rusted antique-looking handle, Ava pushed open the door, stepping through. ::

:: Walking down the stairs, Ava heard growling and stopped. Morgan asked her if she sensed any animals, but before she could even answer, pairs of glowing red eyes opened, one by one. ::

"Monkey's...They're infected with the G virus...about seven of them."

:: Looking behind her, another pair of red eyes open. ::

"Make that eight.."

Nicolas smirked as Haleigh made the case for privacy again. He nodded as he caught her blown kiss, placing it in his pocket.

I love you too, Aleta One.

Nicolas joked, calling Haleigh the name of Optimus Prime's girlfriend, a fact that she would no doubt catch.

I will be more...understanding in the future. I apologize for any violation. Back to the task at hand...beyond THIS door? No need in having them wait.

Nicolas raised a hand and blew the doorway in, quickly entering the room itching for a fight...

Arklay mansion, first round

<< Morgan looked rather grossed out by the idea of zombiefied monkeys. she hated monkeys....thought they were disgusting to begin with and suddenly, like creatures of darkness, they were now appearing in the dark descent around them. Persephone counted 8 and as Morgan went around the bend of the spiral stair case yet again...one LEAPED upon her back causing her to cry out with shock!>>

NO!

<< she struggled as it wrapped its tail around her neck trying to CHOKE her as it beat her in the head and was trying to BITE her to give her the virus. she almost FELL OVER the railing as she struggled against the shrieking monkey. it caught her offguard giving her no time to adjust and see where it was coming from!>>

<< Persephone and Harbinger were attaked as well...one catching Persephone from her legs and climbing up her back while two leaped out at Harbinger with the skill of an olympian athlete. their strength was surprising for their smaller size but these monkeys were out for BLOOD. the monkeys shrieked with frenzy and the women had little room to maneuver lest the fall over and fall to their death to the depths below.>>

on the other side of the mansion

:: Alycia looked at Nicolas and Haleigh with narrowed eyes.::

do you two ever get serious?

:: she said as motioned for the door that Nicolas blew open. Inside the kitchen, which looked rather dated at this point but was still large and sprawling, there was lots of cooking equipment, tables, cutting boards, islands, the works. the lights above flickered on and off and the smell of rotting meat greeted them.::

ICK!

:: Alycia was ready to vomit, she felt herself heaving involuntarily but she didnt puke just then.::

Oracle: << as they arrived in one area of the kitchen, they could look in either direction for a fair distance as several kitchen staff, long dead and decayed could be seen wandering about aimlessly....most were near their work stations at the time of their death but some were more out in the open. slowly, one by one, they began to see Alycia, Rampage and Black Widow....and they turned toward them. the first ones to reach them were large, portly cooks...still in their uniforms now bloodied and tattered. the closest zombie displayed the signs and appearence of the evolved "crimson head" state...bleeding mouth, faster speed, more focused, coordinated moves. he charged at them HURLING his two butcher knives with such speed and accuracy, one headed for Alycia's face. the other for Haleigh's chest. while more zombies seemed to rise up from around, groaning as the begin to close in on the trio.>>

:: Alycia prepared to dodge, missing the butcher knife as it flew sharply past her and she felt it slice a few fine strands of her raven locks. her hazel eyes widened at the accuracy of the zombie's aim but she had no time to dwell on it as another zombie from a cook station behind her rose up and lunged for her. turning around quick enough she pulled back as she extended her gloved hands forward and fired with her custom designed, golden desert eagles. it took at least two or three shots to get them down...even shooting them in the head!::

it's the CRIMSON HEADS...like the ones haleigh and i encountered earlier!

:: she began to shoot at two more closing in on them from where she stood::

As Alycia entered the room Nicolas sensede quick movementg as the red-eyed zombies advanced. A knife stuck in the door by his head as Alycia put the offender down. He looked at the knife and it flew across the room, finally depositing itself into the back of the neck of the closest zombie, killing him instantly by severing his spinal cord.

He smiled at the result, looked over, and a host of knives emerged from a drawer, taking down the next closest two in similar fashion.

Cleanup on aisle 3, Madame Chairwoman.

The remaining knives hovered menacingly as they waited for Nicolas to select another victim...

:: Kicking her one leg to try and get rid of the monkey, it had already began scaling her back. Frantically trying to grab the monkey, Persephone stumbled back toward the railing, accidently [but greatfully] slamming the monkey's back into the metal, causing it to shriek and let go of her body. Unfortunately for the goddess, her long hair--although beautiful--definitely didn't help her out in this situation. The monkey quickly grabbed Persephone's long ponytail, screetching loudly, as it hung by her hair, over the railing, basically pulling Persephone's upper torso over as well. Gritting her teeth in pain, Persephone finally managed to grab the monkey's arm, digging her fingers INTO it's flesh, and literally RIPPING the monkey's arm from it's body. The screetching creature fell to it's death, leaving Persephone with it's arm/hand still attatched to her hair. Unbelieveably grossed out, she quickly managed to get her hair untangled from the bloody limb, throwing it over the side of the railing as well, her hands and hair soaked in blood. ::

"UGH! Fucking monkey.."

:: Turning around, before Ava could try and help Morgan, another monkey lept toward her. Quickly ducking, the monkey literally lept to it's own death, falling down the dark empty stairwell. If only the first attack had only been that easy.. ::
