Are you traveling? Hosting family/friends for a big dinner? Making your shopping list for 'Black friday'? OR do you not celebrate/bother w/ the holiday @ all?

What ARE your plans?

Me? I'm just enjoying a 4 day weekend to rest. I haven't celebrated 'thanksgiving' in years. I used to participate in 'black friday' but I stopped doing that as well. I might check out a few items I'm interested in on 'Cyber monday' though.

I normally go with my friend and his sister to their parents house for Turkey Day since my family lives so far away, but this year I am staying home with one of my roommates and we are planning on just staying in pajamas and eating some good food and watching movies all day long!

sounds like a nice plan to me. my girlfriend will be stopping over later after she makes her rounds & we'll watch a movie or two & knock back a few glasses of something or other lol. ppl can't believe that I'm FINE w/ not going anywhere on turkey day & my response is: "it's just another day". but again, I'm glad to get those 4 days off.

I'm a bit envious at you guys.
If not for the dinner, meeting up with family and all that so for the extra days off work

Here we got no holidays to talk about between midsummer in June to Christmas.
We can get like a half day off in beginning of November. But that's it.
Would give a lot to be able to get a few more days off during our very long, dark and cold fall.

Family dinner and a 3 day food coma

And i think my mother and sister are going out for Black Friday but I'm not looking to be involved in a stampede death this weekend

Me and my roommate are cooking dinner, and i'll be watching the Eagles game and relaxing all day in my pjs lol. And because my family is so far away, i'll be having a skype session with them too. :)

As for Black Friday, I usually always go out to at least Target to get their amazing DVD TV boxset deals, but this year i'm just not interested in dealing with LA traffic, parking, and all around chaos lol. So i'll be browsing online since most of the stores that I like are having the same exact sales online that they are in store. :D

My favorite Target Box Set Buy was when they first released Season 7 of Buffy on DVD. It was like $60 and they had it on sale for $17!! I was storming the doors for that hahaha

I had a doctor's appointment and I found out I have to go back next month - which I really didn't want - for a damn kidney biopsy and then I have to go back again in January - which I really didn't want - for another doctor's appointment. So that was my 'turkey day'.
