Hellfire Estate - Black Rook Quarters

Alec yelped as Archer LITERALLY became a pain in the ass. Still he kept punching The Black Rook, completely shredding his knuckles in the process. He groaned as he hit the floor after Frosty the Iceman hurled him through the air.

Archer said:
"What's NEXT, is me showing you just how USELESS you've made yourself. Piss off and DIE!"

Alec DIVED out of the way as Archer sent really HUGE icicles after him. He yelled as one of them ‘tagged’ his leg. He squinted his eyes at them and sent them flying into the wall next to him. He looked at the ugly gash in his leg and quickly used his telekinetic power to clot THAT up too.

Think, man, THINK! How do I get rid of Frosty?

He squinted his eyes and sent Archer flying forward BACK into the room where the temperature is considerably warmer. He was hoping that that would make The Black Rook warm up. ;) But that wouldn’t be enough. He had to quick creative. So he spotted the gun and TK’d it towards him where he picked it up and then he got up himself and ventured back into the sitting room holding the gun out before him, keeping it pointed at Archer…

I hope THIS will work…

He kept his focus on Archer as he used his TK power to continually bash the abominable snowman into the fireplace in hopes that his icy ‘skin’ would crack wide open.

What if…

He stopped bashing Archer around and began to ‘peel’ his icy skin like an orange with his TK power.

Let’s see how you get out of THIS one, Frosty…

He chuckled as he watched pieces of ice start to fall from Archer’s body…

Hellfire Estate - Black Rook's Chambers

:: From the corner of The Black Rook's sitting room, Daniel watched the altercation between the men ensue. Had either of the men glanced over, they would only see only the plush black leather armchair and end table that had always been there. As he watched the men go back and forthe, hidden by the cloak of his own illusions, he began to ponder the state of The Hellfire Club and his own place. Rebecca had been very good to him, and he was a loyal man. But he was also an opportunist. He knew that the coming days would force him to either stand strong next to Rebecca Everhart and The Red Court, or heed the words of Lord Ravena and take a spot for himself in what appeared to be a new regime. ::

:: Rebecca had left the estate to try and appeal to the sense of The White Queen, Camille Rowe, a woman he liked as well as respected. She may have been a pill popping narcissist, but she was surprisingly diplomatic and loyal when it was necessary. She seemed to understand her place in the scheme of things and she worked within those parameters. Daniel knew personally what Rebecca had going on the side, and while it was ambitious and successful, he feared that under her direction, things might be run into the ground. He had ALSO heard of the rumblings from The American Court. Things were quickly changing in the states, and ONE person who seemed to be talked about in baited breath was Lord Ravena. Couple that with the fact that Lord Ravena had all but told him he needed to assess if he was on the right side of things and Daniel found himself in a predicament. ::

Archer: "What's NEXT, is me showing you just how USELESS you've made yourself. Piss off and DIE!"

:: A smile flashed in the face of The Red Bishop as he watched Archer brutally attack Alec with his deadly ice powers. ::

"That Fairchild is pretty damn cute when he's pissed off...."

[laughing]

"Alistair isn't too shabby either...."

:: The fight was reaching it's boiling point and it wouldn't be long before one would get lucky and land a move that would prove fatal. Daniel had been thinking for much of the day, gathering as much information as he could...and this time, instead of going to Rebecca with the news, he was going to make a play for himself. After all, the game was nearing it's end and that was when the bishop began to shine. ::

"Let' break up this littl catfight, shall we?"

:: Casting out his hands a haunting deep blue aura appeared around Daniel's hands as he flexed his fingers back and forthe. Slowly and gracefully he began to craft his illusions onto the two men that fighting for their lives. As Alistair continued his brutal telekinetic onslaught, Archer countered with a brilliant ICE attack, encasing the Red Rook up to his neck in a large and foreboding block of ice, dropping his body temperature to levels that disabled him from being able to concentrate on his telekinesis. Daniel lifted his right hand and hovered it in the air. All at once Archer's eyes widened with HORROR and DISBELIEF. ::

Archer's Illusion said:
Archer began to see his adopted father and mentor MICHAEL FAIRCHILD entombed in the ice, pleading for Archer to stop, begging him to change from the man he had become. The illusion became even more intense as Archer began to WATCH his father freeze from the inside out in INCREDIBLE pain, unable to do anything.

Archer: "DAD!!! NO! PLEASE! STOP! I'M SORRY!!!"[/b

Daniel watched as the ice elemental rapidly try and stop his father's death, and although in his mind, nothing seemed to be working, in reality, he was melting the block of ice that encased The Red Rook.

:: Slowly but surely, Archer had released his attack on Alec as The Red Rook dropped to the floor, his body near hypothermic levels. If he didn't get medical attention and VERY soon...he would not survive the night. Daniel hesitated for a moment. Alec was fickle at the very BEST and he wasn't sure that the man had what it took in order to fully commit to something, let alone figure out what he wanted for HIMSELF. He shook his head. Daniel had switched alliances and Alec was a part of this new alliance. As such, Daniel decided he would protect the man. ::

:: Turning his attention to Archer who continued to be living his own personal hell, Daniel took a second to enjoy the view before walking over to the fireplace and grabbing an incredibly large and antique looking headbust. The British loved their head busts. He spun on his feet, lifting the bust high in the air before bringing it down with brutal force against Archer's head. He watched as The Black Rook fell to the floor. He would leave him there, in case Rebecca were to return. She would find a body, and besides, with what he knew to be going on in the lower DUNGEON levels of the estate, he assumed that Archer's allies might need all the help they could get. He knelt down beside Archer was he whispered something in his ear. Something Archer would remember upon waking thanks to Daniel's light but effective telepathic abilities. ::

"We'll see ya soon, Fairchild...at least I hope..."

:: The Red Bishop turned to see the shivering body of Alistair Thatcher. His skin was nearly snow white with a tinge of blue. He did not look very good. Daniel knelt down and picked up the small man in his arms and began to walk out of Archer's private chambers. He was going to a safe place, a place that had been in the midst of being prepared all day in anticipation of Daniel and those like him's arrival. Daniel had made a decision and it was time to be of service to the cause. ::

Into The Night...

<< The day had brought The Hellfire Club to it's breaking points. Alliances had been tested, new loyalties had been formed, and a revolution had truly begun. The pieces on Juliette's chess board seemed to move forward as she was able to brazenly kill The White Knight in her own court's stronghold and walk out untouched. While The White King seemed steadfast in his loyalty and borderline fascination with Juliette, The White Queen, Camille seemed incredibly worried, causing her to call upon The White Bishop, Heidi Scarborough to action. >>

<< Unfortunately for Camille, Archer Fairchild was already tasked with dispatching Heidi. In a battle of two elementals, the two went back and forth agressively and although Archer was successful in murdering The White Bishop, it appeared that she was able to get the final word, alerting her Queen of Archer's involvement in the plans to overthrow The Courts. >>

<< Bretta was met by The Black Knight in her chambers, where a conversation turned into an aggressive confrontation as Maxine was able to somewhat easily overpower The Red Princess as she dragged her body off to the lower levels of The Hellfire Estate in preparation for the next part of her plan. >>

<< While confrontations transpired and blood was spilled, Rebecca Everhart began to realize that if she was going to make it out of this brewing trouble, she would need to be more aggressive. After calling out Alistair Thatcher for his disloyalty to the court, she then forced an impossible task on the man. He would need to KILL Archer Fairchild or Rebecca would ensure not just Alistair's death, but the death of Bretta O'Malley. >>

<< As Archer returned to the estate, so did Juliette who was met by Maxine in the halls. After a beautiful and almost orchestrated seeming battle, Maxine was able to knock the cunning and beautiful White Princess into unconsciousness, taking her to a place that would test her STRENGTH and her true ability to SURVIVE. >>

<< Rebecca appeared before Camille in The White Court's Stronghold as she attempted to rally The White Queen to return to the manor and continue on the path that the two of them had apparently began before The Black Queen's wake. >>

<< A small but brutal confronation occured between Archer and Alistair before The Red Rook, Daniel Reed decided to intervene. Manipulating the two like puppets, he managed to knock Archer Fairchild out cold and convince Alistair Thatcher to follow him to an unknown location. >>

<< Lord Ravena, the true enigma in The Hellfire Club began to move some pieces of his own. He appeared to be preparing a safehouse as he also tried to appeal to The White King, Liam, who had decided he would return to The Estate in order to ensure that Juliette was in fact safe. >>

<< If Ravena had been successful in his persuasion had yet to be seen and with so many people dead and captured before sundown, the night was surely going to be a long and bloody one. As the moon rises in the sky, we watch. >>
